Great training tyre I have used in the past. Good trade off between rolling resistance and puncture protection. Never seen them for this cheap.

If I wanted to change the tyres on my road bike, do I need exactly the same width or could I put 25 on if it has 23 at the moment ?

Depends on how much clearance you have around your 23mm atm. Also tyre brands size differently: 25mm continental used to equal 28mm vittoria. I suggest taking some pictures and asking on a bike tech forum.

    28c's are always ridiculous prices!

Yeah, a pair of 25mm is cheaper than a single 28mm tyre, ridiculous. Definitely because the latter are more popular atm. The difference is not huge honestly, I wouldn't pay the extra cost for 3mm.

What's the Puncture protection like on these? I've always used the Conti 4 seasons for my commuter bike and find them a great tyre for protection and grip but they're quite expensive, £14.49 is a steal in comparison.

In my experience the protection is very good for the first 5000km xif you're riding a high enough pressure, 50psi+ (depends on rider+bike weight too). If you look at the second picture it's one of the most puncture proof amongst vittoria's road tyres. Never tried the 4 seasons hence cannot compare.

have 25c's on my Cannondale SuperSix Evo 2020. Noticed packing it away for winter, the rear had some bald patches, which might be from skidding down Ventoux so have ordered a set... They are a steal at this price!

I just want a reliable set of tyres that aren't too laggy and these have performed very well and lasted a couple of years, and done over 10,000km

Not super fussed about 28mm tyres, perhaps next time I might change but i'm ok with 25s at the moment. That being said the roads around my way are awful so the summer bike is staying on the wall for the foreseable

Same experience here, I noticee my rear was showing threads on some spots I had braked hard at. Front still had some life in them. I swapped them until I got replacements, must have put some 7000km on them by then.

Anyone tried to order this with a free Amazon hub pick up? I get a 'chose another hub' message before i can complete the purchase, but it doesn't matter which one i try. It was happy to sell me a similar one (at 24.99) for pick up but not this one.. (edited)
