Great price. I have the discontinued Pro version which I bough 12/2021 for £69.
My previous straps lasted only about over year so hopefully this is now better

So does this do what the little green running pod does, plus HR?

Yeah, it provides advanced running dynamics as well as HR. It's the next generation of the HRM-TRI but transits BT as well as ANT+

    Does it connect to Strava?

You connect it to the Garmin Connect app, which you have to link to your Strava account and when you record your activities there, it will auto-export them to Strava. Garmin Connect is also a better app for running metrics so it's useful to have.

Cracking price! Heat added ! I just got the Hrm pro (basically same model just different enclosure of the HR module) for £59 in eBay .
At this price if you need a chest strap, go for it !

I have the older one myself, loads of better information. If I'd paid more attention looking at data I'd actually have noticed my last injury before it happened (started to 'drag' one leg, more ground contact time, uneven steps).

Dissatisfied with the connection issues of my wahoo tickr I am on the lookout for a new hrm. How does this compare to the polar h10?

I was looking to replace my old tickr X, hence why I had a tracker set on it to alert me.

You can use it with just your phone, the strap will store data during an activity then you can upload to your phone (Garmin Connect app)

Seems to be big discounts on a lot of the Garmin straps, Pro Plus, Run etc, across a lot of retailers. Garmin must be pushing these got one reason or another?

Anyone else still waiting on this to be dispatched. Been onto them a load of times and they just won't dispatch it despite the fact if I ordered at a higher price now I'd have it this weekend.... Convenient.
