Same price on Amazon but not particularly cheap, I paid £170 for it earlier this year

That will all change when you become serious about cycling.

My galaxy S6 had ant+ comms and strava could connect to my hrm. Not sure about cadence. Saying that I would always go for dedicated bike unit myself. Are these more reliable than previous units? My edge 1000 is pretty much a brick now as power button is dead.

Good deal i have this very same Garmin and HRM and Cadence which i couldnt do with just a phone.

Nice, but tbh using just my mobile in a holder on handlebars with "Kamoot" & "Strava" gives me all the info I need.

order got cancelled (annoyed)

Ordered thx, seem to be oos now.

I was able to see this deal - tried to add it to my basket then got an error message "Home / Error 404 Oops! That page can’t be found." Looks like it may have been removed!

I’ve had mine for about a year and it’s fantastic. Really good for safety....and before we see the usual ‘lifesaver ‘ comments, this is in addition to doing that (y)

Garmin Forerunner 235 GPS running watch £154.99 - Amazon deal of the day

Just noticed at a good price. If memory serves on par or slightly lower than black Friday

Same here, particularly if I wear it to bed as it monitors sleep patterns. Just don;t wear it to bed any more and I'm fine.

I get the same problem on my wrist, I where it a couple of days then swap it on to the other wrist. It helps but hasn’t stopped it

Not usually listed at RRP on amazon. This is a good price and about what I paid on Prime Day. A screen protector is a wise add-on buy. To monitor my HR continuously I was only taking the watch off to shower. But eventually the strap started to aggravate my skin. No idea if that’s a common thing or just me?

Hardcore sport use...this More of a smart watch ....vivoactive Personally, I'd go vivoactive as it supports the latest apps and has a touchscreen

This or the vivoactive 3 for £20 odd more?

Good to know Rob. Garmins in the past have refused to get on with Huawei whatsoever. Looks like you've had some level of success.

I have one of these. Not the nicest looking watch, but in terms on functionality I'm pretty pleased with it. GPS works well once connected - can sometimes take a while to connect. Never had an issue syncing with my phone - I have a 1st gen Google Pixel. Also The Garmin app/Strava integration works pretty well.

No issues with an Honor 8x and this model for me. Doesn't sync when you auto turn Bluetooth on unless you go into the programme but works fine then

Back in stock. Is X Large still ok for normal wrists?

Just be aware that Garmin products never play nice with Huawei/Honor phones. Garmin don't appear to have ever sorted this out or have a solution.

Not great for runners who like to time splits - lack of buttons a pain! Great price though

£176 at Halfords as well. Useful for me as I can get 10% discount vouchers for Halfords through work.

I think it comes down to priority. If it's sports tracking buy this, if its smart features buy the Samsung. I have the Samsung buy I'm considering this.

Got the music version and yep great watch. Same reaction from the straps, always end up replacing with metal ones...

Had mine about a year now and quite impressed. Battery ok even when mainly in GPS mode. Have found to be quite accurate especially cycling, running, walking and swimming modes. Only downside for me is the reaction i get from the strap sometimes but i think this is common amongst all these watches with similar straps.

Realistically should be able to get a nice watch for under £20.

Most kids own iPhones these days (:I a little £50 watch strapped to their wrist will be fine (excited)

For example - nothing over £20.00 -'s-watch/. Small losses of a child doesn't like it or loses or breaks it. It's your money though...

I've bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas. Reasonable reviews from a known manufacturer. Other reviews outside of Amazon are reasonably good too. Ages 4 to 10. Pink or blue.

Nope. Just dropped today in this design. Different design options have been at this price for a few weeks. Heat.

I know you don't your phone :P I just need to move banks to something that works with Garmin, meanwhile we have Google Pay supporting a lot of banks but is unavailable for this.

Yep. I have used mine all year, at first the shot detection was a bit flaky but a few updates sorted that. It is now used at least once a week, links well with my iPhone and the app gives good stats. I wanted a watch for golf, walking and cycling and this is still one of the best options out there, great battery life too.

This is a brilliant watch . Never had an issue on my samsung phone and have absolutely no need to use it to pay for something. I use this as a daily watch and fitness tracker. GPS locks super quick, it's all I need. The app is also really good. I paid £220 a few months ago and don't feel too unhappy about that

You don't need your phone for Garmin Pay.... Just your watch. But I do agree that for mobile based solutions I don't get why it isn't just google pay and apple pay.

I bought it just after it came out and it's brilliant. Battery life is great and Garmin pay works well. I also use the starling account. I have the silver one as the grey one was much more expensive at the time. I bought some latex covers on eBay that protect it and give it a grey look

I got one of these for my son too. Paid around £60 at argos. I think the features look good! He is 7 and always asking me how many steps I have done on mines (y)

People are so negative on here thats why I have stopped posting any deals, I found a really good deal and people were just nwgative on all the comments because it was store specific evwn though I did put it on the description

Well they probably need playstations and xbox's less.

Kids don’t need fitness trackers, they’re active enough!

I'm liking the App. There is a spiderman game, where they can complete various things depending on rewards they earn from activity via the tracker. There's also a 'challenge' mode where you can play with other garmin wearers (one of the kids in his class has it). Plus the parental controls and the 'chore' reward feature is interesting. My son will like the sleep tracker too. He's convinced he hasn't been to sleep some nights. Although it's likely that it's all a gimic and it will just be a waterproof watch and step counter after a few weeks I know. Battery powered rather than needing recharging. All that aside, if I downvoted products I don't like/need I'd be busy. But if somethings a good deal for someone I leave them to vote. Realise that people are now downvoting the overall price/value of this product rather than the price of this deal. If someone is after a Garmin Jr 2. this is the best price I've found for the spiderman one.

Garmin Fenix 5x plus - £636.65 (with code) @ First Class Watches
Found 25th NovFound 25th Nov
Not a cheap watch but best deal I can find for a great watch

It's not really a smartwatch as such. It's much more than that. You stick with your smartwatch that won't last a full day and is nowhere near as powerful. (popcorn)

'only' £100. The 5+ is great and has maps and NFC. Excellent. But I don't need either. The 5 has everything else the 5+ has. That's £100 in my pocket. (y)

AlphaPets That's only £100 more for the latest 5....

Cold who pays this much for a smartwatch?! It looks ugly too

I have ah Omega & I agree craftsmanship is incredible, but if you think the watch costs anywhere near what we paid lol it's mostly the brand we're paying for. We'll be paying a huge chunk of their huge marketing budget paying sportsman millions! Manufacturing cost wise I bet not too different than the fenix....could be wrong but gut feel

I've had a fenix 3 like new and the charger was missing and it was well worn ! however a yoga book and it was in the acceptable condition but it was new boxed, I just can't understand it.

There you go @MrSprkle there are some good ones - give 'em another chance (angel)

Brought one theses from amazon warehouse received yesterday, condition like new came with original box, so happy.

Yes, they are not 'As New' (shock) Someone was not paying attention when they sent those - should have been caught before despatch. With the smaller tech stuff I can live with a damaged box (or no box), as long as the description of any marks and condition is reasonably accurate.

I would normally agree but this time shocking this was advertised as like new thje bags inside were all opened and seemed to be mixed etc.. I had the same issue with a number of items i ordered, so they all went back.
