I very recently purchased one of these and find it unusable over a Bluetooth connection - lots of spurious characters (ie ghost keypresses). I also have a Logitech K380 which, when connected in the same way (K380 is Bluetooth-only) to the same device works perfectly.

    Anyone else experienced this?

I found the MX Keys unusable over Bluetooth, latency and ghosting was unbearable. Does this not come with the Bolt receiver?

The Keychron K3 is a hotswappable alternative to this if you want to save a little, unless you specifically want a logitech keyboard I'd say that's a better option.

Hotswappable and much better over bluetooth in my experience.

If you search keyboard enthusiast subreddits these keyboards aren't that well reviewed in so far as mechanical keyboards go - would recommend people do a bit of research before purchasing blind.

That's like expecting a Honda Jazz to be well received in a car enthusiast forum

Ordered yesterday, delivered bright and early this morning. Seems like a really nice keyboard so far. The keys are slightly soft, almost mushy. Not the best switches for sure but very tolerable. Layout could use some improvement, notably the right shift being shorter is a pain to get used to. Otherwise, a decent keyboard with good connectivity for a fair price. At nearly £200 it was steep, at around £100 it's a relative bargain.

    “Almost mushy” compared to what?
I was trying out keyboards in currys and a Logitech mechanical keyboard caught my attention for how nice it felt - but I can’t recall which Logitech keyboard that was now (was a full size G one). There was a non-Logitech mechanical keyboard which felt a little more mushy so there’s variation in what’s available, though non-mechanical keyboards feel very mushy by comparison. (edited)

Had this for a few months.
Best keyboard I’ve had for my personal use case.
PC or mac for daily work use and then flick of a button and gaming pc keyboard

I’m sure there are “better” mechanical keyboards but this has suited me perfectly

I have one of these and it's the best keyboard I've ever used.

Better than Ducky, Razer and Apple keyboards that I've used.

I have a personal Mac, Windows PC and work Mac and it effortlessly switches between the three devices at a push of a button (edited)

I just bought a mouse that toggles between it's dongle and bluetooth for a similar reason, this keyboard sounds like a great one for the same reason, good to hear!

Currys has several mechanical keyboards in store. The Logitech was one of the better feeling options. Going back to a normal keyboard felt mushy by comparison.

Full size also discounted. Why do people prefer compact? Do they not use num keys

Yeah, don't use the num pad much and want to save the space.

    Still available at £109 now.

Anyone compared this with a Logitech Craft? I've had that for a few years, but find the keys a bit squishy.

Some thoughts for anyone thinking of purchasing this keyboard, it was one of the best wireless keyboards I've used in a long time, very comfortable and satisfying to use, no connection problems with the logi bolt that was included and the software logi options+ worked flawlessly. The only problem for me, and I saw this happened to a few other people is the "i" key and then eventually other keys around it started to make a metallic pinging sound (which gets annoying very quickly), now the only problem is that you would need to take the keyboard apart and desolder it to add oil to remove the sound, so, unfortunately, I decided to return it within the 30 days to save myself the headache of Logitech support trying to get it fixed. I now have an MX keys mini and the one thing I miss the most is the backlight options, full sized arrow keys and of course the mechanical keys. (edited)

Also I was shocked to see it - 70 at the same price a few months ago, heat.

Compared to MX Keys and Steelseries Apex Pro keyboard we have at home, I find keys feel soft to touch but hard to press if it makes sense...It's definitely not quiet but it's no very loud either. Full size arrow keys and backlight options upgrade over MX keys mini

How does this compare to the mx mini standard?

This is mechanical so the feel of pressing the keys is very different. I find it more enjoyable to use and hence worth the premium.
