Keyboard is £149

Yeah, clunky as a media consumption tablet but versatile as a PC laptop replacement. I had one recently but sold it to go back to an iPad pro. Good at this price if you need windows applications.

Quite right, not a good deal at all

that seems to exclude keyboard which is £100

Looking for a new keyboard and I thought this was an absolute bargain considering it has proper cherry mx switches. *US Layout!

Thank god this is not MX Blues or I'd have yet another mech keyboard!

There is one key that moves around but you're unlikely to use it unless you're a programmer, that punctuation to the left of Z

If you want a nice typing experience you probably type fast enough and have the muscle memory/hard memory of keys so layout is pointless.

I bought a keyboard recently in nordic layout I think and if muscle memory is good then it should be fine. Keys still work as normal =)

Hmm I'll leave it in description just incase I guess.

Yep, that's what I did with mine (which I got from AO a few weeks ago for £899 after the AO £100 cash back offer). I'm really pleased with the performance and its definitely a keeper.

I never knew they did this in a 1070 gb version?

When it's working I found the trackpad surprisingly really nice on this. The edge between the pad & buttons isn't great design as my fingers 'catch' on it slightly when scrolling...super minor though, don't care about that. What is slightly worrying me is that the trackpad occasionally doesn't register input correctly, usually over ~10 second period. Not worked out why yet, maybe electrical interference, or dirty fingers :D Maybe I've got a dud, we'll see. Not updated BIOS or anything yet. Fans do get loud for sure, but I've usually got headphones on so not a problem. Otherwise laptop seems blazing fast (1070, 16gb version), screen seems nice, thinner and less 'gamer' than I was expecting.

I have this laptop i maxed the ram out to 32gb overkill? well no because you can never have too much ram these days.

I had mine for 4 years they are the best headset on the market with the best value for your money.

I had one of these for about a week before I sent it back. To be honest I don't know why these are so popular, to me they are just an average headset... The sound quality is OK but mic is TERRIBLE! Also the 7.1 sound is crap - causes too much echoing/distortion, you'll end up turning it off... Seriously stick to 2.0 with headphones for the best quality sound. I Ended up getting a second-hand Sennheiser 'Game One' for the same price, I was much happier with my purchase.

I am seriously displayed with the (god awful) alphas should I go back to these at 59.99 or wait for a drop at black Friday?

What are the best quality headsets? I'd strongly advise everyone against turtle beach hence I'm asking.. I had an xo four which snapped after 15 months.. then I spent out on what I though was an upgrade.. XO Seven which snapped after just 9 months.. I eventually after excessive attempts to get hold of their attrocious customer services got a replacement (4 months after raising the rma) which is now doing the same thing and whilst waiting for that one used a 2nd hand Turtle Beach Sentinel headset from my brother which he had hardly ever used and that one also snapped on the arm (all exactly the same issue read the Amazon reviews) after just 3 months! I'm an adult and look after my things.. turtle beach are clearly made from cheap plastic which fractures for no apparent reason and then snaps when you put it over your ears! Now I want a good durable quality headset but don't know what's best!

Will this work on my samsung qled?

(angel) Just noticed that this uses AAA batteries, forget that and get a rechargeable one, you already have enough crap that uses batteries in the house!

The keyboard on these suck, they keep doing multiple letters when you type. Cheap and cheerful though and they work with a firestick (if you get the spltter cable of course), I would recommend getting a better quailty one for a few quid more that wont make you want to smash it to bits.

Usually a fiver on eBay anyway

Gearbest are a terrible company to use bought an android box and it was fake ended up doing a chargeback with visa....will take weeks of not months to arrive and they will fob you off

I use mine when working from home and in the office, haven't had any complaints about the noise, think it probably sounds worse to the user than co-workers I also like the fact that it hasn't got a numbers pad, makes it smaller to transport, easier to centralize when I work with it on my knee, also more ergonomic because I don't have to move my hand as far from keyboard to mouse. If you don't do a lot of number crunching and you've never used a keyboard without number pad, you should give it a try :)

£25 after the code now

I've got one of these, its a great keyboard for the money. Surprisingly well built, even has a metal base in fact this could save your life when the zombie apocalypse hits and you don't have a snooker cue to had (and Queen on the radio) XD Only downside It's rather loud, so not great for an open plan office or hangovers!!!

Happy with mine, but certainly wouldn't use it around others as it is very loud. The keycaps are very cheaply printed, the markings will vanish after just a few weeks use. I believe they are cherry keycap compatible so they can be replaced.

I just realised this and cancelled my order. Shame about that, I was looking forward to having one :(

I've got the Rotring 500 and it's great to write/draw with. What I like the most about it is that it's got some weight to it (because it's metal.)

This one by Rotring looks nice (also available in black) and I'm sure works great for sketching.

For serious technical drawing the Rotring 600 is the best value even at its normal price, so for under £20 this is a steal! My only gripe with the 600 is that the length of 'used' leads (when it won't extend any further) is relatively long, and it does have a tendency to break leads before that too. For writing I much prefer the Pilot Automac which is more friendly to hold, and it has an auto lead feed so you literally don't need to click the end every 30 seconds. For both of these I would recommend you buy the leads with the same respective brand - Ryman and other cheap ones often don't fit properly and they can break more. Back to the longer length spent leads, I put them in the Pilot Automac and get about 1/3 more writing out of them! That's why I have one of each. For sketching, I wouldn't recommend either of these. The 0.5mm lead is way too fine for expressive strokes and shading, I guess it may be okay for really light watercolour before painting. There are mechanical pencils with pencil lead style leads which are much better for sketching - I believe these are known as 'lead holders'. Lead holders go from 1.8mm and up, and allow for softer grade leads. Check out the three at the bottom of this comparison page.

Well, thanks guys! I have now purchased two mechanical pencils and I’m not entirely sure why???
