About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Excellent offer here, which matches what we're seeing at Costco, without the need of having to signup or be a member there. There's also free delivery at Overclockers, which is really nice, considering it's a bit of a sticking point usually, as the fees are usually quite high compared to other places.
This monitor is a 1440p VA panel, with a max refresh rate of 165hz, which is actually a really nice spot to be at (Coming from a 240hz monitor user) If you're upgrading or buying a gaming PC any time soon, with a mid to higher end GPU, this one could be for you.
If you're looking at some of the higher end refresh rate IPS 1080p models at 27" and have the power to drive 1440p there, or are upgrading GPU soonish, this one would make much more sense. Also I think most wouldn't be happy with the pixel count at 27" at 1080p anyway, although some people just want the extra size and may even be sat further away when using it.
I'll stop going on about it now Brill offer for the specs here.
FLUID GAMING MOTION
An ultra-fast speed of 165Hz allows gamers to see the next frame quickly and makes image to appear smoothly. The gamers can response rapidly to opponents and aim at target easily.
INCREDIBLE SPEED TO VICTORY
1m MBR helps smooth gameplay, reducing blur and ghosting. Dynamic and fast-paced objects amidst all the action can give gamers a competitive edge.
FEEL ACTUAL COMBAT WITH TRUE COLOURS
This monitor supports HDR10 with sRGB 99% (Typ.) enabling realistic visual immersion with rich colours and contrast. Regardless of the battlefield, it can help gamers to see all the dramatic colours the game developers intended.
CLEARER, SMOOTHER, AND FASTER
With FreeSync™ Premium technology, gamers can experience seamless, fluid movement in hi-resolution and fast-paced games. It virtually minimizes screen tearing and stuttering.
BE SLEEK, CHIC AND, IMMERSIVE
Enhance your gaming experience with eye-catching design, and virtually borderless design. The base can be adjusted to change the tilt of the monitor to help you play game more comfortable.

sorted byIf you are plugging in speakers into the audio jack and they seem really quiet even at full volume, you can push the menu joystick thingy to the right to turn up the volume as its set to 30 at default and there is no volume section in the menus. So yeah just move it to the right, without going into the menus.
Also the black smearing can be pretty bad I have noticed already, but I've realised a big cause of this is the motion blur setting in games, some people like this off anyway but yeah it makes a huge difference, Battlefield was a blurry mess but I turned down motion blur to 0 and it reduced it down to minimum, same in Callisto Protocol.
Another note, the HDR is bad, turn that off straight away in your console settings or whatever.
Here are the settings I am using right now for PS5 (also on PC but I think that needs some tinkering still)...
Monitor Settings:
Game Mode: Gamer 1
Freesync Premium: On
Black Stabilizer: 50
Response Time: Fast
Brightness: 100
Contrast 50
Sharpness: 50
Gamma: Mode 1
Color Temp: Warm
Six Color: All 50
Black Level: High
DFC: Off
PS5 Settings:
Resolution: 1440p
HDR: Off
Deep Colour: Auto
RGB Range: Auto
Only had the monitor a day but that seems the best for me for now, will carry on tinkering tho of course.
HOT
Still tempted but I find 32" too big lol.
I mean it's not the worst. I can live with it but...
UGH
At this price though, it's stupid to pay for a 27" jeeze lol. They cost more right now!!
I feel too close to my current 32" and that's 4k.
I want to go back to 2k though. Ahhh decisions.
Oh maybe if I put scaling on 100% then it wouldn't feel too close!
OHHH, got to try this right now on my current screen lol. I know it will be blurry running 2k on a 4k but this should give me a good idea!
EDIT: Oh! I take it back, 32" 2k might be perfect lol. This feels nice, other than blurry text but on THIS monitor at Overclockers that would not be the case.
I think this might be the one to buy! (edited)
Only question really is how good is this VA panel? Smearing an issue and what's the HDR really like?
Would this be really far behind an IPS?
£200 was my limit, and I'm not looking for the best of the best, should be a nice upgrade on my 8 year old BenQ 24' 1080p 60Hz monitor anyways.
Could this monitor be a little too much? Or pretty suitable?
Nvidia does not list this monitor on their certified Gsync website.
