    Great price, just be aware that only Starlock bits work. Which are apparently 2-3 times more expensive than standard bits.

    I have seen some Chinese knock offs on. Ebay called newone, I'm going to get a few to see how they fare.

    This is a great deal and a really nice tool.

    I bought this last summer and had the DMT51 before this which is not starlock. The DMT52 is a big improvement, it has more movement on the oscillations and cuts much better. Pair this with a decent quality blade and this really cuts well.

    Cuts around 3 times quicker than the non starlock version vibrates the blade and not the machine, a lot more weight makes the difference. Blades can be bought for £16-17 for 10

    How does this compare to Milwaukee M18FMT?

    I only have 1 Makita combi drill with a 3Ah battery and charger, so not heavily invested with Makita yet (edited)
