I own one and it's decent for the discounted price. I think it was about £80 when it came out.

For anyone who doesn't know, it doesn't require charging and it isn't relying on Bluetooth, so the connection is bang on. The buttons are responsive and it feels like a quality piece of kit that folds away into a light and easy to carry item, ideal for travel on budget airlines that only let you take a small bag away with you.

The only downside (and it's a bit of a big one sadly) is that for games that require quicker reactions and more arm movement (footy, driving, fighting, etc), the design isn't very rigid on the left side of the controller as it's not plugged into anything and really just hooks over the top of your phone. It feels like you have to be reserved in your movements or it might pop off, or even worse, potentially break unless you're more careful.

For me, it meant that I have to choose suitable slower paced titles to avoid any unnecessary stress on the device.

Having said that, I prefer it to 8bitdo controllers I also own, but will likely upgrade it to something with a solid-piece back, down the line. Yes, they're less compact, but I think they'd offer a superior gaming experience to this. (edited)

So no Street Fighter then? That was my main draw for getting it but I'm definitely a hand mover when it omes to controllers lol.

For what it's worth, I'm able to fit the Pixel 7 Pro, complete with the unbranded durable case, into the Razer Kishi by removing the rubber inserts. If there was no case on the 7 Pro, you could probably keep the inserts; either way, they are easy to remove and reinstall. (edited)

Mine doesn't even function on my pixel 7 pro, How'd you get it to work? The device works on an older mobile I have so I know it works

I assume that in order for this to connect properly into your phones charging port you must have to take the phone out of its gel case?

All depends on how big the phone is and how thick the case is. I have an old OnePlus 5T that fits fine without taking the case off or removing the inserts on the kishi. However with a pixel 6 I need to remove the phone case and inserts on the kishi for it to fit properly.

For bigger phones I'd recommend the turtle beach atom. There's no latency from connecting via Bluetooth, just as smooth as the usb on the kishi , it also allows for bigger phones and feels better in the hands.

I have had one for a while now and I dislike how the triggers and the sticks feel. The sticks are stiff and not accurate (especially for FPS) when compared to an Xbox or dual shock/dualsense controllers. That's the only downsides in my opinion other than that it's quite good. (edited)

It does but its a very snug fit. Some people take the rubber bits out but i havent had the need too. You will need to take off your case obvs..

Great controller. Paired with XBOX Gamepass it turns your phone into a handheld XBOX. Heat

I reckon your better off with a standard controller and a clip... Long term reviews on these don't seem great.

Can't find any reliable advice regarding compatibility with Pixel 7. Any advice appreciated (not the Pro, btw)

Also real pain in the arse the Backbone isn't discounted yet. I'd love to know who's paying £100 for this kind of gadget.

Check the dimensions it lists on the website. It'll show you there whether your phone is too big or small to fit. You may need to Google "Razer Kishi phone dimensions" or similar as that's what I had to do for my phone.

Unsure what your question is? There are 2 versions, one for android and one for IOS. Both designed for xbox cloud gaming (hence ABYX) but can also be used for ps remote play. (edited)

I bought the xcloud version a few years ago. It comes with 1 month game pass ultimate.

Good device, although I have a turtle beach atom which imo better. Still use both

It looks like the Atom is two separate halves that charge separately, whereas the Kishi is a whole unit that just expands - is that correct?

If that app supports a Bluetooth controller, it'll support this. If not, no.

These are great. Makes Mobile gaming fun.
Sadly mine is gathering dust in a drawer somewhere as my current phone is too big for it now.

Thank you, OP. Was hoping V2 or the Backbone One would be discounted as part of Amazon's sale, but this doesn't look too bad as a starter set for cloud gaming.

This is pretty great. The only gripe is the top left shoulder button doesn’t have as good feedback as the top right (probably due the analog being below). Other than that, it’s an excellent controller.

What a useless pile of junk this is,

Lad go it today, don't work on this Oppo Find x5 lite. The actual app for "it isn't compatible with your current version of Android" which was 12 he then the half soak updated his phone to 13 (doh!) hows that gonna make it work if it don't on 12.

Tried it on an Android 10 phone and 3 out of 3 games the app show us as being fully compatible with it refused to work with it. You can move the screen icon select and that's about it.

What an absolute let down this is going back to Amazon. (edited)

What were you trying to play on it? I use it for emulation on a Poco F3. Every single game I've used it with, works fine.

Shame it's back up to £60 odd quid
