I just bought the white one, having had the black version for a couple of years. In my view it's simply the best 65W charger you can get. I found the build quality to be just fine (but I'm gentle with things) and it is by far the most compact 65W charger. Also the downward facing ports make such a difference when sockets are behind furniture for example.

Note that having the second cable plugged in, even without a device at the other end, will make it switch to 45W/20W split mode.

I have this. It's good but FYI - not both the ports provide enough power to charge a Steam Deck. Not sure of the exact numbers but I believe the power is like a 45/20 split.

that is right, 45/20 split, the bottom of the charger specified which port has 45w though, just that the font is quite small

Quite likely. This provides 20V/3.5A and 15V/3A amongst other wattages, one of those is likely to be what your laptop needs, but worth checking what your current charger puts out.

Nice charger works well and I did end up buying a 100w one too Highly recommend

100W cost so much more, I wonder when the price will come down.

Hoping to use this for a MacBook Pro M1 which uses a 67watt charger out the box.

Would the 2w less on this charger make a difference? I.e battery would slowly die even on charge.
    2StepSteve's avatar
You won't notice the difference and it will maintain charged whilst plugged in. (edited)

I have one of these and it's really good - I definitely recommend it if you need a powerful portable charger. It's also dual voltage, so it'd very handy for travelling.

Safety concerns and build quality comments on amazon reviews concern me so I will be avoiding this product.
    Wammer's avatar
There are no product recalls on the government website.

Got one the other day. Charges my Dell and my Thinkpad fine. Will get another at this price - paid £27.49 a week and a half weeks ago.
    Wammer's avatar
What type of cable do you use?

I currently charge my Dell laptop using a power adapter. It has a USB C port. Would I be able to charge it using this charger?

If so, any advice on the type of cable I would need, or are all cables equal?

    Thanks

Is the usb-c thunderbolt? does it have the lightning symbol next to it?

I have one. Works well. Nothing dodgy has happened at all. If you put your ear up to it you hear the tiniest bit of buzzing but that happens with basically any transformer

I bought the Anker Nano II 65W yesterday and it gets a little too warm for my liking pushing 65W whilst charging my 13" 2023 Macbook Pro.

I'll give this one a punt at £7 quid less.
    ken218's avatar
It will also generate heat, I don't think you can get away from the heat
This one has 2 ports though, so can get handy when you need it (edited)

Been using one of these for well over a year. No issues. Used on steam deck, dell laptop, phones. All fine. Bought another at this price. Will recycle all my old USB chargers now and have this ready.

Ordered one over the weekend for ~£30, Amazon is really stupid that they won't do "refund on price differences" so it will cost them more to process the return, and another delivery, and trouble for me to package and ship the item back
    ImGroot's avatar
Order another and post that back

I have this charger. Can't fault it. Feels high quality and works as intended.

This should charge the s23 ultra at the full 45w right?
    koahhe's avatar
Yes, it does super fast charge my S23 Ultra.

Great little charger. Charges my laptop and S22 Ultra at ultra fast speeds

Be aware, this is my 2nd item. First one a couple of years ago was great... However this one the plastic earth pin has bent within a couple of uses and can no longer use it. Quality isn't great
