    Will this cable like Huawei products send your information to the manufacturers in China ?

    Yes, they’ll know all about your charging behaviour

    I bought the twin pack of these and surprisingly they both failed within two months charging a Macbook. They were both replaced under warranty but I've not been impressed by them.

    Had a similar experience with some Anker braided cables. Both failed (would no longer fast charge), almost simultaneously, after a few months. Seamlessly replaced under warranty, but I've drifted away from using Anker after years of using them (found the bog standard short Samsung unbraided ones are more reliable in terms of always activating super-fast charge).

    Still like Anker as a company in general.

    I was also about to purchase this for use with a Macbook Pro but read that a lot of them fail quickly! The official Apple variant can be had for less than £10 as seen on the other post from MyMemory..

    I bought one of these last year and the cable has more of a rubbery/sticky feel than my older Anker cables.
    As a result, it's just horrible to handle, so I try to use another cable.

    Will this take 5A?

    Yes, a supply Voltage of 12v is 60 Watts of Power.

    20v = 100w / 5A

    Yeah I’m a big fan of Anker but I’ve had these for iPad pro and MacBook and they fail really quickly. The amazon basics version has lasted well though.

    Is there a good USB type c to micro USB converter attachment I could use with this that someone would perhaps recommend? Thanks

    I have the Anker 765 USB-C to USB-C Cable (140W Nylon)
    I bought it at £14 as the price goes up and down like a yo yo
    After comparing it to my Samsung Cable that came with my Samsung 45W Super Fast Charger 2.0 using both fast and then super fast charging setting.
    Using the Anker cable seems to charge my S22+ 10 minutes + faster than the Samsung cable
