Levelling up is fine but matching your gear takes too long as you run out of resource quickly and getting 3 pieces of the same gear to fuse and make stronger is laborious to say the least.

You get 2 free crates a day that might contain gear, definitely not F2P I uninstalled yesterday as it's just a samey run through each time without the charm of a rogulike and the ease of an RPG.

I like how they didn't even attempt to theme the crystals to match the doom universe

It's a reasonable fremium game with some challenge to it, the roguelike elements are okay with engaging boss fights but you're limited somewhat by the gear available which takes tokens (earned in game) to upgrade. Daily events have modifiers that keep things interesting and provide most of the resources & XP required to progress slowly through the campaign but the difficulty of the bosses is kinda random and so it's easy to get stuck on the same section repeatedly.

I'm not really sure what the endgame is for this though, I'm about halfway through the campaign after a week and there's not really an obvious pay to win strategy for getting stronger. Gear can be levelled up to lvl 20 and higher rarity gear has better perks but the loot boxes have pretty abysmal rates and the variety of items means you're unlikely to accrue enough of the same one to merge for a better rarity.

Shame this doesn't support custom texture packs.

Got bored of this so looked for an APK mod, found one, put all levels up to max, got bored, uninstalled. I really wish I could find a game I enjoy enough to play.
