About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Great price on this Nike speed shoe.
I love mine and actually have faster times in these than in both the Vaporfly and Alphafly.
Full range of sizes available in this colour way. There are brighter colours of the same shoe for around £107.
Nike description: While these speedsters could easily pass the test on race day, they double as your go-to shoe for your training routine. The supportive fit and soft cushioning work together to make them comfortable enough to withstand those double-digit mileage days, and light enough to help quicken your tempo when the time is right.

Zoom Forward
Nike ZoomX foam in the footbed delivers high energy return. Visible Zoom Air units provide responsive cushioning to give you an additional spring as you push off. Nike React technology is a lightweight and durable foam that delivers a smooth ride and helps cushion your foot when it hits the pavement.
Runner-Informed Traction
Using data from hundreds of runners, we placed traction where your foot needs it most to give you grip on multiple surfaces.
Fast Fit
A translucent Flyknit upper provides breathability in areas where your foot heats up the most. It uses strong, stretchy yarns to create a lightweight-yet-supportive feel with every mile.

sorted byBeen running for a few years, have done a couple of half marathons etc. Running group 3 times a week 10k ish per session, easy / slow pace but after a few weeks / months always seem to be hobbling about with my ankles and feet in pieces. Brooks ghost 14 or Altra Timp 4 Trail are my road/ trail shoes.
Are there running shoes that give extra cushioning? I feel like I'm always "just coming back from injury" despite taking things very slowly.
Great regular ultra cushioning. The ones in this deal are totally focused on speed work. (edited)
For every day non-running wear? You could, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Something like the Nike Invincible would be more comfortable.
I have Vaporfly's 2 and they're amazing, don't expect those to be as good, but I hope at least good for fast training sessions.
I hope they're not too heavy.
Also the price on offer is for a different colourway (even nicer than the ones in the pictures here)
I have a Strava segment that I use as a speed test and my best time is in the Tempos. Once again, I can't get close it in either my Vaporflys nor Alphaflys.
Based on this deal, I put on my Tempos for my run today. I intended to trot out 5-6 miles at an easy 8:30/mile. I ended up running 9.5 miles at 7:30/mile. They are such good fun!
The Tempo Next % are absolutely amazing for quicker sessions, no knee pain or issues since switching to them from Zoom Vomeros (which were great compared to a myriad of other shoes I tried) at the beginning of last year. I’d holy heartedly recommend them for anyone running sub-8 minute pace per mile. I’m not too sure if there’s any great benefit for running slower and on recovery sessions I found them to be annoying. The main reason is they really encourage you to be running on your toes, so slower more flat footed work just feels… weird in them. Obviously if you’re running slower than 8 minute pace but your style is more on your toes then they’ll be great - I just tend to switch from relaxed, to forward lean, to sprint depending on the session; forward leaning and sprint shoes are where these are at for me.
Last thing to say is that they’re much more robust than Vaporfly’s: had to send my Vaporfly’s back after a single 10k at race pace, following a few tempo 5k’s…
Great deal and price. (edited)
I also felt that during longer runs and when you lose your posture, the don't 'roll' as much anymore and they make me stomp along rather than run, if that makes sense.
They sit extremely snug, no sliding inside the shoe either. Overall, pretty awesome.
I found a better day to day shoes in the UA Flow Velocity Wind 2.
Happy spending!
Also, about pegs Some other retailers also giving good discount on Pegasus turbo, so I am here to seek advice. Cheers.
