Two friends out fer a walk in the jungle, come to a clearing. Lying down n this clearing is the BIGGEST Lion you've ever seen, and as it reared it's head 1 of the friends puts down his backpack...removes a pair of Decathlon Kalenji running shoes, and as he put them on, his friend said You'll never outrun him in them (lol) to which his friend replied it's not him I gotta outrun (poo) Oh well, another one fer the Mods ter remove (zombie)

Thanks. I'd originally mis-read/understood your comment, but I think after a re-read my comment on the FR35 still stands. I've just taken a look at mine, when you select any of the three fields to edit it there are only options to select another value, no "blank" / "hide" / "remove" type of options unless it's configured elsewhere. Worth noting that the central field is larger, not sure if that's common.

Msx98

Can't the screens be changed to 1 only? Or are they all fixed on the 35?

morgie

Not true for all devices. The Forerunner 35 has 3 data fields per page that you can configure and 2 pages.

Msx98

Garmins can have 1 data field per page. So you could have distance on 1 page and calories the next just scroll down or have it on auto scroll. I think a vivoactive 3 would probably suit you fine.

Betabet

I'm super short sighted and need a watch with very large font and it needs to be bright. I'm not particularly knowledgeable on these things and really only want to know how far I've run and how many calories I burn. Can anyone advise on this pelase?

Not sure what 'the best' are, since it's very subjective, but I bought some Reeboks in their sale a couple of months ago. For the price, I found them very comfortable (I always go a size larger for my distance trainers). I bought some similar to these https://www.reebok.co.uk/reebok-lite-shoes/DV5175.html

TomTomston

Brilliant, thanks for getting back to me!

Ouzoherb

Yes they fit perfectly as the sock liner is nice and thick so gives room once removed for the superfeet insole. NB I prefer to cut the superfeet to the exact size of the sock liner even though is says to cut shorter. The trouble with shorter is iyou can feel the edge with your toes and I had the glue the cut off bit back on as didnt like the feel.

I use mine to run through fields and muddy tracks in woodland with tree roots and loose rocks. They are very good in the wet in this terrain as the lugs are quite deep and chunky made from quite rigid rubber/plastic so seem to cut into any mud quite well. That being said the shoe doesn't compress much and there's no foam that I'm aware of. I'm still using them at the moment even though the fields and the tracks are bone dry as they've got good ankle support and are a good fit for me (think I went a size up) the lace up mechanism is quite handy too. Never really run on a tarmac surface with them in the rain but I've been able to run 10k road and mud runs comfortably. They aren't water proof either.

Salomon 20 years back were the dogs. I've watches their products slide downhill over time. They were one of the first brands to virtually stop using leather a long time ago. Don't know much about them, but the end products are what matters. Heat for the price, but they don't make 'em like they used too.

mikegrath

I find them a little tight on a longer run, starts at about 3-4 miles. Never got water in them though lol

stu333

Very difficult to answer really as everyone's feet are different. A narrow size 8 foot is very different to a wide size 8 for example. Do you have an Adidas model you own and the Nike one your interested in ? That may help a little. I wear a size 11 in adidas pure boost DPR but 11.5 or 12 in Adidas ultra boost ( depending on the generation ) and size 12 in Yeezy 350's, this changes down to 10.5 with Adidas free hikers . With most Nike's I wear a size 11 such as Pegasus Turbo / Epic React / Flyknit Vapormax but have to go up or down half a size with other models . It can be impossible to compare but they both offer speedy free returns so just order a couple of sizes to be safe and return what doesnt fit.

redwing5

I'm 10.5 in ultraboost but went for 11 in these due to the reviews but really can't help much more that that mate.

Muppetgirlone

Does anyone know what Nike sizes are like in comparison to adidas? Thanks! :)

stu333

I voted hot as it's a great price. You should be very happy with them for gym work and were right to size up from your normal Nike fit. They have been as low as £ 45.00 recently but I'm out of stock of time machines.

Strixx

Thanks for all that, much appreciated :)

Spicy_Meatball

Spicy_Meatball

Im sure its only 1 cinema ticket per month but to be honest I've just had a look for you and the cinema ones have been taken off, most likely because of covid19. I do believe that there are different levels of packages of perkbox and therefore someone else may get more than me, depends how tight the boss is (lol) I'm not big into movies anyway so its probably one of my least used perks. Ill post a few screenshots so you can see the sort of thing you get on there

Probably a stupid question but how much difference is half a size? I'm always 10.5 which is out of stock but I could get 11 if its not massive.

Anyone able to give a comparison with Saucony ride iso?

amjl

Indeed. However I had physio a couple of years back on my knee and the guy recommended orthotic insoles rather than specific supportive shoes. I've now almost worn out 2 pairs of hokas, napoli (neutral) then arahi (supportive), and I prefer the napolis as they are more cushioned. I have now ordered some cliftons as they are supposed to be the classic hoka squishy soles, and will stick my insoles into them when the time comes.

No1dealhunter

They are neutral cushioned shoes. Not sure they’d be good for over pronation.

Probably not, but you will find yourself the recipient of an increasing amount of 'alone time.'

As mentioned lengthy delivery times, I'm expecting my in July, will advise then. But they're regularly keeping me updated on shipping progress and my current treadmill still kind of functions so that suits me but won't suit everyone waiting 2 months.

YeSr

Did you receive it and is it worth buying it?

I ordered this one over the weekend due to the spec (15kmph / 9mph, slope adjustments, width & length of running belt, shock absorbers and also the 3 modes too). It's only £240 delivered but very lengthy delivery times (my current treadmill works but needs replacing in the near future so this kind of fits my requirements but may not suit all with 2 month delivery times). Also it's now showing as unavailable on the amazon page but worth keeping an eye on to see if they get more stock. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B087YQ9JZQ/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item
