OLED and AI come together to make the LG OLED55C14LB a class-leading performer.

LG’s powerful new processor - Alpha 9 Gen 4
Capable of automatically detecting and optimising the content you’re watching, LG’s powerful Alpha 9 Gen 4 processor is at the heart of making this TV a spectacular performer. Using AI technology, the picture and sound are optimised to best suit the genre – be it movies, sport, gaming or regular TV. The processor on this 55 inch LG TV also drives the brilliant AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro.

AI Picture/Sound Pro for professional sound and vision
Using a huge database of over one million visual date points, AI Picture Pro uses deep-learning algorithms to recognise content, remove noise and optimise the picture. AI Sound Pro leans from more than 17 million audio data points, identifying voices, effects and frequencies. From here it optimises the sound by genre, giving a more natural sound quality.

SELF-LIT OLED – the ultimate picture technology
Rather than using a backlight, OLED TVs feature self-illuminating pixels. This SELF-LIT technology means that you get 100% colour fidelity, infinite contrast with the deepest depth and stunning detail.

Ultimate detail - Dolby Vision IQ
For ultimate detail, in all environments, this LG OLED features Dolby Vision IQ. Dolby Vision IQ version uses data within the signal and light sensors inside the TV to adjust the picture quality for the best contrast. This improves the picture’s brightness, without ‘washing out’ the depth. You get a consistent picture quality, however light or dark your room is. Whether you’re watching a brightly lit sports event or moody movie, Dolby Vision IQ adjusts to suit.

HDR made better, with HDR10 Pro
LG’s powerful processing also helps in getting the very best from HDR10 material. Whether watching movies or gaming with HDR10 games, HDR10 Pro intensifies the regular HDR experience. HDR10 Pro automatically adjusts the brightness, enhancing colour and detail for a more vivid picture.

See the picture exactly as originally intended, with Filmmaker Mode
If you’re mad about movies, you’ll love Filmmaker Mode. Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended.

Game Optimiser with HFR, VRR and ALLM for a gaming advantage
Game Optimiser utilises a dedicated gaming menu, letting you select and control specific gaming features, such as Reduce Blue Light, Prevent Input Delay, VRR and AMD FreeSync. Equipped with a full HDMI 2.1 interface (all four sockets), this LG TV gets the very best from your choice of gaming source. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) mean that your TV automatically adjusts to the optimised settings for gaming – giving you a smoother and faster response.

Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this LG 55” TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. With its built-in 2.2 speaker set-up and a 40 watt amp, the OLED55C14LB delivers a smooth, well-balanced sound.

Welcome home - LG webOS 6 for the best in smart TV
Widely regarded as one of the best smart TV platforms, LG’s webOS system just keeps getting better. The latest webOS 6 uses your viewing history to recommend a range of shows and movies from across various apps. An improved home page offers improved graphics, with dedicated info and search boxes.

Magic Remote made better
LG’s Magic Remote has always led the field for simple, gesture and voice control. The latest version retains this, while offering direct keys for popular streaming services and a new, cleaner style. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney + and Rakuten TV are all now just the touch of a button away. Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa also get dedicated buttons for simply voice recognition.

The hub of your home entertainment
Featuring LG’s ThinQ AI technology, you can control a Home IoT ecosystem with natural voice recognition. With both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, it makes it even easier to control your LG OLED TV and quickly access the entertainment you’re looking for.

Ask them to price match their own deal. One week on should not be an issue. (edited)

This should be added to the description as unusual for RS to only offer 1 year.

Nice find. Might be worth asking RS to match it, as I hear their warranty is really good.

I guess £699 needs to be taken out of the title?

I heard that RS might do them for £699 at Easter a few weeks ago!
What's with the one year guarantee 😔

Is that a better model or even the same as the one RS are selling?

At last a realistic price for size , now I await the 65 C2.

Interestingly if you kick up a fuss in store they can go to headquarters who will allow 6 year guarantee. Someone else has managed this. I would hope the guarantee would never be needed anyway. Guess as a chain they are watching their margins. They don't mind customers getting a deal but a bargain is another matter.

Why has it only got a 1 year guarantee and not 6 years ?

Because Richer isn't rich enough so presumably will sting you for +5 year.

They lowered the price. Still same model at £759 a week or so ago after a price beat.

Wonder how far it might go.

They will price beat to £785. I used the same firm.

    6 year warranty. (Guarantee) (edited)

They will price beat RGB deal so £739 target. 1 year manufacturers warranty. 5 years RS Guarantee on top.

Do you have that confirmed with them? RS will do the price beat but are sticking with only 1yr warranty, they’ve just confirmed that in an email to me.

I’m surprised to still see so many C1 deals. We’ve also had loads of C1 panels sold under the CS variant too. I was expecting the sales to be of the C2 model and for the C1 to be long out of stock.

I would imagine they cooked far too many C1 panels during pandemic as there was a massive shortage at some point, probably explains why we even had CS as it is nothing more than upgraded CPU (which is the way to go if you can find a similar deal for sure as it will support OS updates for longer I imagine).
