sorted byIf I'm going for an AMD build, is it still better to limit myself to the 6000Mhz of the ripjaws given the previous issues people have had?
I have 2x16 GB DDR5 RAM at 4800Mhz.
I'm not able to overclock on my CPU so is the extra speed worth it? (edited)
As for whether it's worth the outlay, it really depends on the games you play and the GPU you have. If you're running a 3060 or something, you're unlikely to ever see any benefit. It mainly helps when you're CPU-bound with a really fast GPU.
