I have this exact model, paid £9, and use it to dial in my espresso machine, need to weigh the coffee before and after to make sure the extraction is right.

I bought some calibration weights the check how accurate the scale is, and it was spot on at 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g and 100g. I wasn't expecting the accuracy for the price - not even 0.1g out.

These are good for weighing gold and silver jewellery. You can then look up the current prices online per gram before you take them to the pawn shop etc. (edited)

Bought this a while ago - ordered vitamin in powder form, wanted to make sure correct dosing was consumed - completely unreliable. Sent it back… and never used powder - too much hassle.

It’s pretty accurate, keep your phone away from the scales as it interferes with it, you might also have to leave the powder on the scale for a few moments to get the accurate reading as it is not instant and can change

Good for weighing ventolin/salbutamol inhalers (the drug runs out a long time before the gas).

Also good for weighing out coins, You count 100 (pennies for example) and then weigh them and then you can quickly
bag up accurately weighed batches of the exact amounts - brilliant for pre/post boot sales!

I think its a crying shame that kids nowadays have to buy their treats by the gram. In my day, we all took extra curricular lessons in fractions, tenth, eights, quarters.. Amazing how many non academic kids picked up fractions pretty easily...

Great for weighing out your legally obtained cannabis flower, which has now been legal in the UK for many years (See medbud wiki for all the clinics/pharmacies/strains).

In my experience these are good but much too small to use as kitchen scales, no way you could get a mixing bowl on

Ideal for accurately checking letter weights, much finer than using kitchen scales - so you don't stick more postage on a letter/small parcel than you actually need to. (edited)

These are good until some Muppet squeezes the weighing sensor to see how it reacts to their grip or finger pressure. Hey presto, broken scales.
