Ain't nothing like feeling fat and patriotic at the same time (lol)
Heat, ordered, thanks OP
Why stop there when you can take it all the way to your bathroom for a extra £9.99 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007X3VPJC/ref=s9u_simh_gw_i2?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pd_rd_i=B007X3VPJC&pd_rd_r=b750529d-4d7f-11e8-bda9-4b799b7f517d&pd_rd_w=w6ro3&pd_rd_wg=YON6B&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=7XK4DMP81D57C28EFZWK&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=187bec3b-0822-4044-bbe9-441718232b3f&pf_rd_i=desktop
If that was the case i should have a chinese flag
I give up waiting for dispatch, all you guys claiming your rubber feet are missing and getting replacements are to blame!
This is now £12.99 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B5QL09S/ref=psdc_3538314031_t2_B075RZK24F As previously stated, I believe it's much better than the one posted (which was never realistically £29.99.. yes for a few days it's only just been listed on Amazon, but I've seen it in supermarkets for a £10). Glass surface with no nooks and crannies to trap dirt (unlike the one in this post). Easy to clean. Can take oversized items. Good clear display. Very accurate - even if you don’t centre the thing being weighed. Looks great. Takes 2x AAA. Rubber feet. Nothing against the OP, just sharing...
OMG, we may be related.
Get this one it’s brilliant. Tempered glass surface with no nooks and crannies to trap dirt. Easy to clean. Can take oversized items. Good clear display. Very accurate - even if you don’t centre the thing being weighed. Looks great. Takes 2x AAA. Rubber feet. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00B5QL09S I paid £9.99 in Sainsbury’s. I would spend the extra fiver over the one in this deal if it can’t be found cheaper.
Mine just got delivered. The batteries were taped on the cardboard around the scales, but the scale is missing one of the rubber feet so going to have to get a replacement. Look pretty good though.
Yep pretty uselss for international drug runners although for a 2 bit street urchin / dealer it'll be fine
Uses mine for measuring ingredients for cures and rubs for meats, before smoking and weight measurements for individual concentrates for DIY e-liquids
0.1g accuracy? wow. Great for all the hotukDealers out there.
Terrible deal. Max 3kg Argos for example were doing one for £2.99 with a 5kg limit the other day.
A fair technical criticism but in my experience, the calibrations on even the cheapest chinese scales are shockingly accurate for the price. Strain gauges are simple tech and the chinese have really, really got this right. We resell a more accurate version in our jewellers and have tested every cheap 0.001g precision one on the market. We calibrate them before they're sold and the adjustment is typically in the order of a few milligrams.
Lightning deal ended :(
I have one of these, way more accurate than previous purchases. I had to buy as I don't pack lightly when traveling and am always at my limit!
£5.45 on lighting deal at moment..
Showing as 6.99
Looks better than the black one I got from HB last week for £4.95...
Good price I keep breaking my scales
Same price in store at Sainsbury's
Picked one up for a fiver in my local Asda in November. Weighs stuff, what more could I want. Worth 6 quid
Was posted a couple of weeks ago, got one seems good
Got these and they're really good
Only problem I have with ours is it needs cr3032 where I prefer aa or aaa battery units.
Likewise here, easy to use, reliable and the add and weigh zero function is really handy. Great find op.
I've had one of these for years great for weighing small/medium parcels to work out postage costs :)
I've had the exact same one for over a year, no issues and works great.
great price for this!
Cheaper than gearbest 8) or same price but you'll get it sooner
Thanx Op ordered for C&c
Had mine for 5-6 years and never a problem, even got washed once!! Great find.
I also have these and they are really good on battery use and this price is fab, recommend!
It's not the poor accuracy that is the issue. It is the sheer inconsistency due to constantly changing external variables such as hydration levels. So unless you have some magical measuring gauge which tells you when you have exactly the same hydration level as your last reading, then these sort of scales are totally pointless (other than for measuring weight!)
Damn. Spent£33 ish on Xiaomi smart scales a few months ago!
Rough idea surely?
topcashback as well 16.8%
These are quite accurate. Amazon has them rebranded as AMIR ones for £8.99 One thing which is terrible about this one is the viewing angle of the display. You need to look directly at it or won't be able to read the display which means if a plate hangs over the display, you can't read it.
I think you'd be really impressed with the accuracy of cheap scales compared to the accurate ones, especially at this level of precision. Usually accurate to within 5g or better.
Site has very bad reviews ?? (skeptical)
5lbs... Not bad
Worked a treat! New one ordered, as soon as it comes on Monday its going back (as the original)... don’t know why they couldn’t just refund the difference
Buy it from amazon, then when you get it return to tesco.
I bought one of these from Waitrose on sale not too long ago and returned it immediately because there seemed to be something wrong with what it was displaying and when you put a bowl on it that is quite wide, the bowl covers up the display which I knew would be annoying for me. I think it's the same one I remember.
They have really tightened up on refunding the difference and chatting to them courteously ( is there any other way?) seems to work.
Ordered and heat added. Thanks OP.
so i came back and checked for you, nope not for £6 but for less than £8 but as mentioned they have had some for less than this but looks to all have gone. This model know but underneath they are all the same unless they go up to different measures and for something you put in a cupboard it doesnt really matter what it looks like. And on the price normal price is lower than £14.99 most of the time https://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/Salter-Digital-Kitchen-Weighing-Scales/product/B001MF3C4S
no idea it was across many of the ranges that's why I suggested to check, got one ourselves to replace our old salter one.
Have they had this particular model for £6 or less?
Ah thanks for letting me know, I'll boot up the old time machine.
have a search through the electronic salter scales they have had a few for less than £6 for the last few weeks, some are for future delivery so check the other sellers as well. might be all gone but worth checking got one last week.
That's surely wrong it's a completely different model that lacks a lot of the functions.and they had a dozen of the lesser model. Just been in hunts cross branch, had about a dozen, they had a sticker stating GH scales £5 another stating GH flat scales reduced from £5 to £2 took to till thinking they might be the lower price but they were not.
for a fiver- no brainer
The ones I got were 218mm x 153mm x 18mm. The box was bigger, but it wasn't 10cm thick. They look a bit different to the ones in the picture on the WWW site.
Picked one up from Coventry Walsgrave last night, mine has only got a single section to the display with no evidence of a timer function, it didn't come with a battery either! (mad)
27 x 17 x 10 cm?! Are they 10 cm thick? Looks more like 10 mm
Tandy still exists as an on-line retailer of electronic components. Much smaller than the original that was part of RadioShack, but then RadioShack has gone bust twice in recent years so perhaps that is a good thing. http://www.tandyonline.co.uk
If you are interested in evaluating the gold scrap value of something what you going to do? Guess the weight and buy or not, based on that?
What's there weight range?
Accuracy +/- 100%
bathroom weighing scales - must be a helluva scales to take the weight of a bathroom (shock)
Oh. Weighing scales. I'd prefer fish scales.
Bought for the bando heat
back in stock

It was back in when I checked. Just bought one. Thanks OP
Missed out :(
good find op, heat added
I think this should be in deals rather than freebies
