Tried to add heat but app won't let me! Great for the price and think the connectivity may be great
All Kitchen Scale Discounts, Offers and Sale - December 2018
Looks like a lot of the Salter ones on Amazon are either deal of the day or reduced quite a bit. (y)
I use mine every day, better than the ordinary salter one which kept sticking and would let me change the the different volumes
Great price. Batteries last forever didn't change them since delivery. Excellent scale, well build and precision of 0.5g. bought mine in may 2016, no issues so far.
You are most welcome :D
Depends if you weigh them at 1g or normal weight ;)
We used to have these. Absolutely brilliant. John Lewis sell them under their own bread for 3x this. Sadly ours melted when left outside in the sun inside a ziplock polythene bag. Literally the black plastic became a blob.
Is this ideal for making up little £10 bags??
Thanks, added to the description (y) The voucher was showing on my side too. But wasn't sure who was eligible.
If it was I'll be made since I still have one sitting in drawer from weeks ago, I paid £5 That's the thing about kitchen gadgets for example I bought a blender thinking I'll make smoothies and milkshakes all the time but I make about 5 drinks
Posted this last week https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/asda-george-home-stainless-steel-digital-kitchen-scales-250-instore-ayr-3061443
These are in Kendal too. It's a bit small to use a normal plate. But I've placed a plastic tray from my old scales on it and then I can use a plate on top of that and still read the weight. Simples!
National? Damn paid full price for this a few months ago haha (excited)
cheaper than buying a new battery...
Just bought one.Perfect and uses normal AAA batteries unlike horrible 10p ones.
Dropped a further £1.81 to just £5.99 delivered prime
Cold from me as in the questions it says the mechanical side does not work with out a battery, and still trying to work out what's smart about it.
Your can spell it Gram or Gramme. This one is better for £16.99 https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Digital-Electronic-40kg-Fruit-Veg-Shop-Retail-Weigh-Scale-UK-Plug/905963403?iid=292612154672&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIM.MBE&ao=2&asc=49130&meid=b274c708100f49b69707418cf56daa14&pid=100005&rk=6&rkt=12&sd=222948196329&itm=292612154672&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
See above - 3 grams is a ton!
£40 or 3 for £100
How much is a gram?
It comes with a battery, iv got the pink which was £2.99 about 4 months back, decent little thing, battery still going
I bought it and surprisingly it came with a battery.
Good price so heat from me but remember does not come with a battery according to Argos so add a quid on top for that.. But personsally I would always buy one with AA batteries otherwise I find it runs out at some crucial moment
Price now gone up
Ain't nothing like feeling fat and patriotic at the same time (lol)
Heat, ordered, thanks OP
Why stop there when you can take it all the way to your bathroom for a extra £9.99 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007X3VPJC/ref=s9u_simh_gw_i2?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pd_rd_i=B007X3VPJC&pd_rd_r=b750529d-4d7f-11e8-bda9-4b799b7f517d&pd_rd_w=w6ro3&pd_rd_wg=YON6B&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=7XK4DMP81D57C28EFZWK&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=187bec3b-0822-4044-bbe9-441718232b3f&pf_rd_i=desktop
If that was the case i should have a chinese flag
I give up waiting for dispatch, all you guys claiming your rubber feet are missing and getting replacements are to blame!
This is now £12.99 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B5QL09S/ref=psdc_3538314031_t2_B075RZK24F As previously stated, I believe it's much better than the one posted (which was never realistically £29.99.. yes for a few days it's only just been listed on Amazon, but I've seen it in supermarkets for a £10). Glass surface with no nooks and crannies to trap dirt (unlike the one in this post). Easy to clean. Can take oversized items. Good clear display. Very accurate - even if you don’t centre the thing being weighed. Looks great. Takes 2x AAA. Rubber feet. Nothing against the OP, just sharing...
OMG, we may be related.
Get this one it’s brilliant. Tempered glass surface with no nooks and crannies to trap dirt. Easy to clean. Can take oversized items. Good clear display. Very accurate - even if you don’t centre the thing being weighed. Looks great. Takes 2x AAA. Rubber feet. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00B5QL09S I paid £9.99 in Sainsbury’s. I would spend the extra fiver over the one in this deal if it can’t be found cheaper.
Mine just got delivered. The batteries were taped on the cardboard around the scales, but the scale is missing one of the rubber feet so going to have to get a replacement. Look pretty good though.
Yep pretty uselss for international drug runners although for a 2 bit street urchin / dealer it'll be fine
Uses mine for measuring ingredients for cures and rubs for meats, before smoking and weight measurements for individual concentrates for DIY e-liquids
0.1g accuracy? wow. Great for all the hotukDealers out there.
Terrible deal. Max 3kg Argos for example were doing one for £2.99 with a 5kg limit the other day.
A fair technical criticism but in my experience, the calibrations on even the cheapest chinese scales are shockingly accurate for the price. Strain gauges are simple tech and the chinese have really, really got this right. We resell a more accurate version in our jewellers and have tested every cheap 0.001g precision one on the market. We calibrate them before they're sold and the adjustment is typically in the order of a few milligrams.
Salter scales come with a 15 year guarantee, they send out a replacement by special delivery so you are not missing it for too long. Great service.
Heston. Liquid nitrogen cold..
Im gonna bake a cake....whats the worst that can happen?!
Lightning deal ended :(
I have one of these, way more accurate than previous purchases. I had to buy as I don't pack lightly when traveling and am always at my limit!
£5.45 on lighting deal at moment..
Showing as 6.99
Looks better than the black one I got from HB last week for £4.95...
cold as you can’t buy it!
Only stock in about 5 stores in the U.K.
None left in stock anywhere
why is there a hole in the top of the scales? what if I have a bowl slightly too big or slightly too small? That's a silly design no?
Good price I keep breaking my scales
Same price in store at Sainsbury's
Picked one up for a fiver in my local Asda in November. Weighs stuff, what more could I want. Worth 6 quid
Was posted a couple of weeks ago, got one seems good
