Yes loads this morning. I don't remember how much the big ones cost but the little ones were like 30p

Why did only Twirl and Lindt Easter eggs seem to exist this year?

Every Supermarket here sold out of White Chocolate creme eggs way before this weekend annoyingly.

I think a lot of them under-ordered in general here, went to Tesco's Early good Friday and they only had a tiny selection of eggs left. Lots of anxious parents staring at the small shelf trying to figure out if they should get their kid a Luxury dark chocolate egg or an After Eight egg...

I got all mine in when the £2 deal was one, glad I did. They never went down in price again and stock levels were terrible in all the shops I went into

I know that Cadburys have changed the ingredients over the past number of years (to cheaper ingredients) and it just doesn't taste as nice.

So I had a Cadburys Buttons Easter Egg recently and it tasted great, like the older recipe. Then I had a Cadburys Mini Eggs Easter Egg and it tasted horrible and its gone in the bin.

My wife thinks they only make the Buttons eggs in the UK, using our milk, so that's why it tastes better. I'm not so sure.

It would be good to know which easter eggs are close to the original recipe. If they are all going to be like the horrible tasting egg, then I'm afraid Cadburys has lost my money.

Anyone else feeling the same? (edited)

Someone think "our" milk tastes better than "their" milk?

Location matters less than what is done to the milk after (or how) it's been collected, I would think

I reckon it's less to do with with where the milk comes from, and more to do with the lower quality ingredients - and of course, the whole thing might even be subjective

Meanwhile my local Tesco Extra removed all Easter related chocolates so no discount for me this year

The twirl medium is 1.50 not 62p.
I got four boxes of mini eggs 62p each
