I suspect he is joking.

How is it ridiculous? Probably dated end of july, no doubt got thousands very cheap, and throw them out a quid for 6. Cheap deal all round

Cadbury creme eggs? In June?! Supposed to be for easter. Bloody ridiculous pound land!!!

Yellow labels are store specific only post if it’s in every Asda store eg it’s a price drop nationally ie we will all buy 20p eggs otherwise we all get a teeny weeny bit jealous of your 20p bargain 8)

"display by" date yes, but about 1 to 2 weeks before the "useby" date. I buy them all the time. The large packs of 15 eggs are usually 20p also.

One station that started 2 years ago in debris space. Its gone up to 32kbps, them finding a tiny bit more debris. I don't see many, if any, stations moving to Dab+ and losing 90% or more of their current Dab audience.

Even rarer is me using any below 128kbps. Many default to a low bitrate so you have to seek out the listenable stream.

Union Jack is now 32kbps. I wish the bitrates were higher - similar to that in mainland Europe but bitrates comparable to Internet streams is simply not going to happen (and 320kbps is a rare thing - if anything, high bitrate streams are rare online - 48kbps for AAC streams are the norm which would be equalivent to 56kbps for DAB+ (additional overheads are included for a DAB+ service)). The UK digital mark specification does not require radios to decode more than 188kbps at the error protection level used for the vast majority of DAB+ services in the UK.

Two main differences: - The use of the AAC codec instead of the older MP2 codec which allows a station to reduce its bitrate by 2-3x that of an equivalent MP2 station. There is also far less excuse for a station to drop to mono because the savings is only 2-3kbps for a station that uses parametric stereo (all UK services do with the odd exception on a small scale DAB multiplex if I am correct). - Improved error correction by around 40% from my measurements. Whilst a DAB service is showing errors (so called 'bubbling mud'), the DAB+ service will remain stable. Using a pocket radio, I get far less errors and dropping out listening to a DAB+ service compared to a DAB one. There should be no excuse for a manufacturer not implementing DAB+. I have seen radios below £10 which support DAB+.

Thanks bought for my daughters bedroom ,just painted blue so should fit in well

That only works if you do it within 24 hours of them being laid from what I'd read. Store bought eggs will still go bad as they've been exposed to bacteria and air assuming what i've read is true.

Ps heat added op, forgot to state that part, I was too amazed with the egg trick (y)

Whoa I didn't know this!!! I am going to buy a bigger box and do this every time I get eggs now as I struggle to use them all so I buy small boxes n it is more costly. Thanks for the tip (y) worth mentioning it says online to use food mineral oil

My friend brought this two years ago and we all fight to sit in it, still going strong.

i think the build quality is rubbish it would not be so bad if it was made of steel but it is a very thin alloy which will break in no time.

always been this price so not a new "deal" but still good price compare to others.. ie £250 for wilkos.. £300 amazon etc

Yes but you would need an awfy big saucepan! (nerd) (cheeky)

Hmm maybe i'm just too sensitive and snobby about the slightly out-of-date chocolate taste (cheeky)

I've eaten chocolate years after the best before and apart from a little change in colour it tasted as it should ;)

Yeah that's true since they're best before dates rather than expiry dates :D but they still taste quite bad after the best before date from my experience so i'd rather avoid that (although some may argue that they still taste bad even when in date (cheeky))

Iceland Fathers Day special - Luxury Breakfast (Sausages, Bacon, Bread, Beans and Eggs) for £5.00.
Found 7th JunFound 7th Jun
Choice of sausages and bacon. See photo in the 1st post.

Iceland is the only supermarket I have seen that puts alarms on its food. Tells you everything really.

Because if you put the word “Luxury” on in script people won’t bother to read through the ingredients list and find out all the crap that’s in it.

my sister was a iceland snob but now lives near one ,she has changed her tune. granted some is dodgy but u do get some nice food there. like most supermarkets aswell. :{

I'll have to try it, thanks!

I see your Bury black pudding and raise you Stornoway, way better!

They do mention this one too. Nothing stops in stock for long in the Tesco Direct sale , you have to be quick or you miss out. Still plenty on sale at the Colne Road, Burnley store this evening.

I have a electric hob it takes a age to boil even using the kettle and this means more extra electricity needed so i just use one of these it is so simple to use turn on and leave takes half the time and less hassle and all eggs come out perfect 6 at a time. I would say this is the most used back of the cupboard type gadget i have bought and will fight its corner for it (strong)

One of those egg timers that changes colour works perfectly fine for me!

Morrisons Egg Custard Tarts 2 for a £1
Found 16th MayFound 16th May
Morrisons Egg Custard Tarts 2 per pack

I think greggs are my favourite

ASDA are the worst.

Sainsbury are definitely the best tasting. Tried all the different major supermarkets. Sometimes it's worth paying a little bit extra for quality.

I prefer Tesco branded egg custard tarts ... always been good, but the prices have increased a lot in the last couple of years. Go - Tesco !
