Which Samsung TV's? I currently have a Samsung Q90R and was wondering if this would be an upgrade.

I got this, when it was last on at this price (January).

Opinions on TV's are going to vary, but I was coming from a smaller, fairly budget (philips) 4k tv that I'd bought for around the same price over 8 years ago.
Massive jump for me like. There are absolutely better tvs out there, but I don't have a spare grand hanging out of my back pocket to put into a tv (more power to you if you do).

I use it for gaming and streaming shows, 95% of the time. It does this smoothly, fast UI, fairly user friendly. It had 4 HDMI ports that I needed, so that was good. Punchy colours, smooth for gaming, Sound is fine (though I'm no audiophile).

If it dies within a month I'll feel sheepish about saying its good here, but naw, I wanted a step up from a standard 4k tv in terms of size and display, with 4 HDMI ports and keeping the costs low. This ticked those boxes. Very happy with it.

Is this the best you can get without paying another £200+ for an OLED set?

Hmm, this or the TCL C735K. Same price, both well-reviewed.

This, based on local dimming zones.
