Cheapest price around for a fantastic full array Sony TV.

If you need a nice local dimming gaming TV with VRR, then this is a highly rated set. None of the faults that plague the Samsung Neo QLED 90 series range.

@zackariah @P1121 @vis_7 @pabulous @jonconlon TV turned up in the past hour, along with an email for the guarantee.
Sadly, this one has more DSE than I would like, so I phoned JL and they're sending another out to me for tomorrow.

You guys should be all good with receiving yours.

    @MaxJenson thanks for the update.

What is DSE? And how do I know if my tv has this?

Is this better than the Sony XR55A90JU ?

Essentially a refreshed version near identical, but this has better PC/Console improvements when using VRR and local dimming together. This does, however, have slightly more blooming than the older 90j.

I got it delivered on Sat and seems to be fine. I was looking at getting this when it was £850 but at £650 its a great deal. Thanks OP @MaxJenson

I brought up the google cached page to get the product code, then tried calling to order by phone, she confirmed £649 but said out of stock so unable to order, she looked it up then seemed surprised I had that product code asking where I got it from, I just said on the website but page not working, she then said no its out of stock completely. I suspect its more than a stock issue though, likely a pricing error as whole page has been pulled. (edited)

I hope they get stock in, as panel lottery being a thing, I might need to send back one or two before getting a good one.

Anyone who gets this delivered has done very well at that price. Fingers crossed for those that caught it, let us know if arrives. (edited)

    I'll update tomorrow.

I was worried about possible cancellation, and that's why I chose the next day delivery. The quicker it got out of the warehouse, the less likely they'll stop the order. 🤞

So tempted… did want an OLED but this price is luring 🙈 (edited)

Like wise, would like an oled but too much sunlight where the TV is located, so it would be no good, and I am not leaving with the curtains closed all the time

What is the peak brightness on this? I am struggling to find any reviews of this model.

X90K is the most common model. The 50" has the S instead of K. Exactly the same, though.

    And... it's incredibly bright. 50010902-qOGuD.jpg

Has it been pulled? Link not working and search comes up with nothing. Heat added.

Looking likely that it has indeed been pulled. I purchased a few minutes before posting the ad, and paid extra for next day delivery. Everything went through fine, so hopefully they do not cancel and refund by the end of the day.

Good luck to any of you that also went for it in time. Let us know if you got yours

I'm enjoying it. Sent the first one back instantly due to DSE, but the replacement is pretty damn good. Still tweaking settings and things how I like, but it's nice to have TV with all the essential features I will use without having to compromise on something due to buying a TV around this price range normally.

I only looked once, and I believe it is 4GB. I don't plan on using any of the built-in online functionality/ streaming, so I deleted apps and disabled some of the Android applications to keep the TV running smooth.
