This large capacity countertop oven quickly and evenly cooks complete meals on 2 levels.

More than an oven, create everything from bubbling cheese-on-toast to a whole roast chicken and fluffy roast potatoes with 10 cooking functions – Air Fry, Roast, Whole Roast, Grill, Bake, Pizza, Dehydrate, Reheat, Toast and Bagel.

Up to 40% faster than a fan oven*. Quickly and easily create family-sized meals in as little as 30 minutes. Say goodbye to long waiting times with a super-quick 90 second preheat.

With 2-level cooking, you can fit a main and sides at the same time – so there’s no need to use multiple appliances to cook a complete meal. Roast a whole lemon-herb chicken with potatoes, Tuscan roast pork with vegetables, traditional fish and chips, or cook two oven pizzas at the same time. A digital oven rack guide illuminates to help you choose the optimal rack positions for each cooking function.

True Surround Convection – fast, crispy and even results. A high-velocity fan, rear heat source and surround airflow combine to circulate superheated air throughout the entire oven for even cooking on two racks, no need to rotate your cooking trays or flip your food.

Air Fry using little to no oil and enjoy extra-crispy results – up to 75% less fat than traditional frying methods**. Perfect for cooking your favourite fried foods, from breaded chicken goujons and sizzling sausages to oven chips and crispy French fries.

Simply select a cooking function, time and temperature or toast shade with easy-to-use touchscreen controls and a digital display. A removable crumb tray slides out so you can easily clean up crumbs and small spills. Get started straight away with a Chef-Created Recipe Guide.

*Tested against sausages and fish fingers, including pre-heat.

**Tested against deep fried, hand cut French fries.

Is the reheat function any good, could this be used instead of a microwave?

Best way to think of this is a small oven that heat ups fast. So you can replace your microwave with it just like you can replace your microwave with your main oven. The benefit of this is it heats up much faster reducing the overall time. That said the actual heating time is still 2-3 mins in a microwave vs 15 mins in oven.

All the functions are just presets, they don’t do anything different to each other. I think the reheat was 80 degrees out the box but I found it took a long time to heat things up. It does remember the last settings you used for each preset so mines now at 135 which is quicker but no microwave.

So yeah, it can replace a microwave but it hasn’t replaced mine. But it’s good for heating up dry things that would be ruined by the microwave.

Although, why would you want to replace your microwave? Unless it’s for space saving they are excellent for heating up moist foods and are perfectly safe.

This has actually replaced my oven. It’s more convenient and easier to use, especially since it shuts off after the time is done. We’re a family of 2 adults and a toddler though so our meals are not big. I only use the main oven now when we have people over or are doing a roast.

It also hasn’t replaced my air fryer. This thing is a pig to clean. I airfry dry stuff in it and it works fine but no way am I putting wings or anything fatty in it, it’ll be ruined.

I didn’t intent to write so much

I have this, it's cheap to run and heats up food fast. (edited)

Same here, bought it for £199 on QVC in Jan 22.

It's already been said but this needs cleaning regularly (I'd suggest wiping it down after every use) otherwise you'll have a real job on your hands if you leave it too long.

The air fryer isn't anything near the quality of the 9 year old Philips hd9230 we still use. Yes it does the job but takes almost 1/3 longer for the same results, If you are buying this mainly for the air fryer function I'd probably look elsewhere tbh.

Also had the start button fail which was an easy repair but a pita to access, this happed at 14 months and just outside of the measly 12 months warranty Ninja offer.

Other than that I'd recommend it.

Is this worth it if you already bought an oven ?

It depends on the type of oven you have. Fan-assisted ovens are similar but you still have to wait for them to preheat. The time it takes to preheat, the food could have already finished cooking in the air fryer. They are quick. Also depends on how much electricity your oven would burn compared to this air fryer one. Would probably work out cheaper to use the air fryer one.

i like the Ninja products, but i read some pretty bad reviews about this unit.....
I was all for ordering one when they were £199 , but even dropping to this price, still didnt bite..
In the US, they have the DT201 model, not sure if thats the newer revision fixing the heat circulation flaws with this model (DT200 / DT200UK )

At what point does an air fryer just become an oven?

    Is it..
    * <30L = an Air Fryer.
    * >= 30 L = an oven?

Do we need more categories? SOMEONE TELL ME!

Well oven only really has 2 functions (oven and grill) so this is still an air fryer. Just in a more oven format

They brought this out because people were finding air fryer meal preparation has its limitations (despite the vast amount of 'reviewers' saying they can't remember when they last used their ovens ). (edited)

They haven't 'brought this out' we bought ours in 2021.

As mentioned above, we have had one since Dec 2021.

Excellent oven, we only use the main oven for big roasts & baking; day to day meal preps are in this.
Heats up in less than a minute. As well as the oven/air fryer, you also have a pizza setting, a grill setting & more.

Only downside is very hard to keep clean but well worth the money.

Microwave combi air fryers are the future I think. Can't beat a microwave for reheating leftover cooked food that are already packed in takeaway sized plastic containers. However this is a great deal for a big sized air fryer

Yeah its the plastic sized takeaway containers that i miss. I also freeze a lot a lot of food in containers that would be a pain to do without a microwave. My main issue is space, has to be one or the other

    Ordered one.
I've got a dual air fryer currently but still find myself using the oven for some stuff, so I think this might be an ideal replacement.

    Managed to get one.

I already have the Ninja Air Fryer and only use my main oven for roasts and pizzas so now I can dump that.

I got my original Air Fryer a few months ago when Amazon had a price glitch (I think) so I should be able to get my money back on that!

    Thanks op

Mine arrived on Thursday, it's still sealed in the box.

I'm unsure whether to keep or return. The comments around cleaning are putting a bit of a downer on it for me.

    Leaning towards return.

On a side note, if anyone wants it for what I paid and is in the Leeds area... let me know if you missed out.

Cleaning has not been an issue for me.
I absolutely love mine and I paid more than this for a referb.

I had cleaning issues with the low level ninja that flips up to stand, but no issues with this at all.

I highly reccomend it as you can do normal oven things such as part baked bread in top and tray off bacon at bottom etc.

Its super fast for an oven, but I also have an airfryer I use for certain jobs so perhaps I am not doing the super splattery jobs in in this. (edited)
