4127829_1.jpg4127829_1.jpg4127829_1.jpgThe GEL-PULSE™ 12 running shoe offers excellent cushioning and comfort. In this version, the engineered mesh used in the upper is softer and more breathable. The fit around the heel and over the top of the foot has been softened for a better feel that helps feet stay comfortable. This not only adds to the shoe's comfort, but also gives the latest GEL-PULSE™ 12 a cleaner look. Underfoot, the AMPLIFOAM™ midsole cushioning and our rearfoot GEL™ technology cushioning system work in tandem, adding softness and helping the shoe absorb more shock in your step. With its contemporary technologies and styling, the GEL-PULSE™ 12 shoe helps you to take on whatever the day brings in comfort and style.

Had a pair of ASICS trainers, lasted about 6 months, started splitting. Poor customer service.

How much wear did they have? My GT1000s seem indestructible but I avoid the 'sports style' stuff.

My first pair of ASICS I ran hundreds of miles in no problem the second pair went through the material over the big toes just walking in a very short time not sure how that happened but don’t think I’d buy another pair

I've only had 1 pair and they failed on me, but at this price they're getting another chance, I've bought a couple of pairs over the last few months just because they're so cheap

If price is considered in the review, I'm thinking that review is based on a much higher price and therefore these are great shoes for the current price

I bought 2 pairs of these last time they were on offer for running in. They felt heavy and unresponsive. Ended up giving them away. Nice shoes for general wear but for running I would recommend Reebok energy Floatrides that now and again cost around £40-£50 on offer.

I thought I was the only one who preferred the Reebok floatride for running. Shame they sold out. For some reason you can't access their UK online store anymore. Just reroutes you through the EU online store when you search.

Heat added. Haven’t had a problem with a pair of ASICS in over 20 years. Only brand I’ve worn for sport.

Are these good for running ?

Sorry is this a serious question.

Have you just asked if the running shoes are suitable for running.

I should think so as that's what they are designed for

Got a size 10 here I bought two weeks ago. First time I’ve ever had a blister off trainers.
Will probably post in a charity skip

Are these comfy, durable and true to size?
    BeefyMcWhatNow's avatar
    BeefyMcWhatNow
I can say yes definitely to 2 out of 3, I won't know how durable for a little while yet

Anybody have these and can attest to fit?

Also, are these fairly narrow like Nike's or wider? Tend to get blisters with Nike's more expensive range given how narrow it is.

Normally 8.5 in Nike, 9 in Adidas.
