Previously called the TERRAULTRA G 270, this shoe has been renamed TRAILFLY G 270 for Spring/Summer 2022 so that all our trail-specific ultra running shoes now sit within one, easy-to-understand TRAILFLY franchise. The shoe is exactly the same except for the name, meaning it retains all the incredible technologies that led it to win four ‘Trail Running Shoe of the Year’ awards in 2020.

Featuring GRAPHENE-GRIP rubber for the world’s toughest grip and a POWERFLOW MAX foam for a cushioned ride with snappy bounce, the TRAILFLY G 270 is the ultimate shoe for tackling long distances at speed.

The footwear of choice for many top ultra runners, the super-durable TRAILFLY G 270 also boasts a comfort-enhanced upper and spring-loaded BOOMERANG footbed.

These are actually amazing, if they fit you well. Bear in mind that they are zero drop shoes. Break them in gently

"Zero-drop running shoes are minimal "barefoot" running shoes that have minimal to no cushioning and leave the feet laying directly flat on a level surface of the shoe."

I hadn't heard of this term before, anyway that isn't surprising as I've never done running and never will be doing any running for the remainder of my life.

    Won't let you add size 9 / 9.5 /10 to the cart.
    wobblejobble's avatar
Shows them as in stock but there is a banner at top saying out of stock when you try to add certain sizes to cart

Thanks. Also discounted storm jackets in the sale. Best wet weather gear I’ve used.

The stormshell jacket is brilliant and I can't find mine as it packs down so small that I can't find the safe place I've put it.

The sale on the jackets isn't a big enough discount for me though as I didn't pay much more for mine a few years ago.

fit scale 5 so they are wide in the toe box, the widest they go with Inov8 (1-5)

Do they provide free return postage?

    Finally found:

"If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you can return it for a refund, provided it is within 30 days of receipt of your order and the item is as new and in the original packaging. Returns are charged from £2.99"

Does anyone know of a trail running shoe for people with flat feet and over pronation? Its like a minefield online. Having knee issues with barefoot shoes
    ataxic's avatar
I used to over pronate, well ,still do while walking, but on runs I have increased my cadence forcing a 'ball of feet' landing. The physio couldn't see overpronation on a treadmill during an analysis after I injured my ankle. So I must have changed my form (and more options to choose natural shoes) over the years. (edited)

Last time this deal was on for the green pair it took me so long to get round to opening the box and they had sent me Parkclaw G280 instead! wrong size unfortunately though!

Anyone used these for hiking? I do a fair bit of hiking along with running and wondering how it holds up for both?
    FionnMac's avatar
Yeah I have a pair and done some hikes in them, the grip is outstanding just the obvious things it is missing - ankle support and waterproofness. But for easier hikes, in dry conditions - great

Btw I tried to get another pair but sold out in my size. Highly recommended (edited)
