A lightweight long-distance running shoe built for trails, parks, paths and roads. Delivers a springy, cushioned, yet controlled ride that gives a feeling of flow.

I've been looking for a lightweight trail ultra shoe that I can add to my collection. This is currently on offer for just £70. The other colourways are still full price!! Occasionally other colorways do come up on offer if the grey/blue doesn't suit you. These do get a good rating on various running sites and fit in-between the G270 and G300 models.

More info........

Our most cushioned trail running shoe, making it perfect for all distances up to ultramarathons. A deep wedge of lightweight FLYSPEED nitrogen-infused foam gives a plush, springy underfoot feel. This works in tandem with a unique groove built within the bottom of the shoe that allows it to flex and mould to the trail for amazing ground control.

Weighing just 280g, with an 8mm drop, the TRAILFLY ULTRA G 280 is perfect for runners of all abilities. It serves up confidence-boosting grip through mega-tough 4mm rubber studs infused with the world’s strongest material (Graphene) and, thanks to a wide-fit toe-box and highly breathable upper, the all-day comfort needed to go long.

Since launching, the shoe has won multiple awards across the world and has the proven adaptability to be used by runners seeking to flow across trails, parks, paths and roads. But don’t just take our word for it. Influential running review site RoadTrailRun scored it 9.4/10, while big-hitting magazine Outside named it ‘BEST FOR MULTI-TERRAIN RUNS’ following a giant test of 85 different running shoes.

As in trail, road etc then yes. These are mainly classed as trail running shoes, could use them for ultras too!

I have the G270 zero drop and they are excellent. These are well reviewed and a deal at this price!

Thanks. Good reviews at RunRepeat too - 86%. runrepeat.com/ino…280

    4.25% top cashback too

Very tempted, though I had planned on getting a GTX pair for waterproofing. What's everyone's thoughts on these Hoka Challenger ATR 6 with GORE-TEX for £80??

Are you using them for trail running or walking in? Personally there's not much in it but I know many trail runners would go with the Hoka, but if you're using it for trails then I wouldn't bother buying the waterproof version.

    Thanks Evouk.
Running only. I currently use a pair of Nike Pegasus 38s for road running but I've been after a pair of trail runners as find my feet get wet in the winter months or even just when running on dewey long grass.

No worries. Like I said there's really no benefit to gore tex/waterproof trail shoes if you're hitting wet and muddy trails as your feet are just going to get wet and stay wet unlike normal trail shoes that will eventually dry out to a certain degree. Some runners I know get waterproof socks to overcome having wet feet.
