    Reliability rate of these drives are shocking... I'm an IT support engineer and I upgraded 12 PCs with this exact model and size of drive from old mechanical HDDs and 11 of the drives failed within 5 months. RMA process is relatively painless but failure rate too high to recommend.. (edited)

    Had same experience with my classroom. Techs put them in over the summer holidays and by January all had been replaced with some being replaced twice. Apparently it was a faulty batch but the replacements they sent us have been fine so far (fingers crossed)

    I have 4 P series drives, all 6 or more years old and still working fine.

    I've also got a bunch of the P series drives and had no problems. With prices/GB where they are, I think I'd go for the ~500GB tier over the 250GB tier.
