Tried one last year. Failed within 6 months. Not going to risk again.

Such a "top class" brand that I've never heard of it, nor do any reviews of this product appear to exist. But the Engrish on those screenshots certainly goes a long way in convincing me to believe you. /s (edited)

Anyone buying PC components (besides MAYBE a case or some fans) from alibaba/express is a lunatic, a rogue element and a danger to themselves and others.

Not really. I get that people can be put off by it but what you’re saying really isn’t true. Yes there’s some rouge traders but you can say that about eBay.
I’ve bought from official venders and direct from manufacture on AliExpress and the only time I was sent a dud , it got replaced super quickly.
Do your own research but I wouldn’t let it put me off

Looks good for the money as this is a high speed drive at 7500 read 5500 write.

Personally though I would pay similar money for a slower drive from a UK seller with a recognised brand and UK warranty, or pay a little more if I needed the speed. I only go to Aliexpress for cheaper or hard to find bits and pieces as I have had no joy with any issues I have had with purchases in the past.

I'd like to see an AI generated video of a certain orange hued man with a red hat promoting these.
Make Asgard A Top Class Brand Again.

Guys if you don't like the product you can send it back, and don't worry they provide a pre-paid postage label so it costs you nothing to try it (edited)

Do they refund you as soon as it's in the post like Amazon would do, or do you have to wait for it to get back to China and pray that they confirm it's faulty and actually refund you?

notorious for never offering discounts - Some meta joke about Aliexpress's discounts?

I do go with some cheaper brands (like fanxiang, which you can at least buy on Amazon UK) but even I wouldn't buy this one...
They are too much of an unknown, can't get them on Amazon or even ebay. That says a lot.

It's got a decent controller and DRAM cache, YMYC TLC NAND is fine, but that doesn't make it reliable, in which case you'd want easier returns/refunds which isn't always the case with AliExpress. (edited)

It is actually a known brand, but just also known as not that good.

ASGARD7207 all codes claimed it says, remains at £124 on my account.

You can try this one but it's not the same discount ASGARD7206

If you view the basket there is a link that says Get discount, if you click on this it should give you a list of codes, unfortunately not all work on this perticular item but it's worth a try
