** USED - SECOND HAND ** but IMHO these must have been the ones taken out of the newly upgraded laptops or maybe I am wrong here and also not sure about the warranty.

Does this look like a half M.2 card? Alternatively does anyone know if this will fit into half.M2 slot?

Great price but will stick with the 512GB Transcend MTE300S SSD I bought for just under £50 last week. For many people 256GB will be fine as native Steam games can just be installed to a micro SD card, but I have a huge Epic and GOG library and these can only be installed to the SSD.

All my epic games work fine from the microsd. You just need to change the installation path in heroic.

Good deal, but personally i am not opening my SD until the 1 year warrenty is up in September, then i will look at upgrading the ssd, no point tempting fate, and my 256 gig sd card is doing the job perfectly. (edited)

Of course depends how competent you are but using YouTube and ifixit guides, very easy to replace ssd. Even after I had replaced my 64gb and a couple of months later my steam deck stopped working, valve replaced mine no problem

If these are the bc511/bc711 ssds would avoid using in the steam deck. They run incredibly hot and came reinstalled with a copper heatsink. Took one out of brother in laws g5 15se to try improve temps of the machine and couldn't believe how much heat this thing generates

Picked one up last time, working great in my 64GB model Steam Deck, add a 512 card and that's plenty enough for most people.

Cheers. Picked one up. Was hoping my first for the steam deck would be a little bigger but it's a fair upgrade over 64gb

Super, got one for my 64 steam deck.

Over 100 available as of 10pm today.

Nice one OP, thanks. This size of SSD is way overpriced brand new.

    Heated.

Used, but is TLC NAND so even if you get one that's been used a fair bit it should be fine.

Was planning on buying a 1TB/512GB to update, but at this price, would be rude not to.

Looks just like what I pulled out of my G15 to upgrade, and later put in my Steam Deck. Been working fine, can't say I've noticed any difference to fan use, lighter indie stuff is quiet and heavier games it spins up just as before.

I recieved mine this morning - But looks like they have made a picking / labelling error - some WD SSD that's not 2230...

    Anyone else have any issues?

It looks like Lambda Tek are pulling a fast one and sending different SSDs to people i was sent a SAMSUNG 256GB M.2 2230 NVME instead of a DELL SSD M.2 256 NVMe if you paid by PAYPAL build a case in the Resolution Centre for a refund without return, don't let them get away with it.

Mine has the 'right' code on the packaging, but is clearly a Kioxia unit. Is this an inferior item?

I got a WD SN740 gen4 and it made the fan on my deck much louder than the original.

With the new SSD, my fan is also spinning harder than before with the eMMC. Unsurprisingly, it seems to be causing the battery to drain much more quickly as a result.
