Correct, they are basically repackaged Panasonic Eneloops which are considered one of the best. This is a fantastic deal. (edited)

They are a bit sneaky with this offer, if I add 3 X AA batteries at £7, sure they give you the £7 discount off or 3rd packet off

Add say another AAA Ladda packet that discount magically becomes £5 only. Or if you try to add 3 X AAA packets to get the extra discount or 3rd packet free it still shows as £5 discount only or £10 overall discount.

Basically they give you the lowest discount amount be it £7 or £5, even if you buy 6 or more.

If one wanted to do it properly or work around if you are in store, perform 2 separate purchases or if another person is there get them to do buy them, so for example one customer or till transaction 3 x AA packets and the other customer or go to new till pay for 3 x AAA and you max out the discounts

So it is only 3 for 2 for only 1 transaction? Either AA or AAA

    I can't buy more than one? Like 3xAAA AND 3xAA for £24?

I would like to order but don't want anything other than made in Japan to have the chance to get something similar to eneloop. Has someone ordered all three 950, 1900 and 2450 mAhand are they made in Japan or could that be kind of luck what you get?

It says “Made in Japan” on the packaging (I have a packet of 2450mah Ladda) (edited)

Can anyone recommend a charger that is good and NOT expensive? Took a look at the MAHA recommended above and it's really expensive if it's not something you're going to be using constantly. Thanks.

maybe just try the ikea charger....

Think you get it cheaper if you buy the 2450 pack

Really great batteries. I'm using 1900 mah version for about one year and I liked stay charged features. Definitely recommend it.

Buy now. Last year looking on the 3xCamels on boxing Day noticed how much batteries go up in price when everyone needs them after Christmas

Couldn't find any way to put just AAs into the online basket (even without this 3 for 2 offer). Always saying must be completed with the purchase of a charger. I've enough chargers thanks.

Hi, I have just ordered 6 packs and didn't add the charger although it initially shows same message must be ordered with charger. You might be able to just add the batteries and then try and checkout. Hope it helps. Kind regards.

With the offer, makes more budget batteries pointless.

How do the AAA at 750mah fair does anyone know? Going to be used in a Roku & Firestick remotes.
    Thanks.

Got the AAAs in a Samsung telly remote and a Firestick remote, both of which get used every day and they've been in them for months and still not needed to change them.

We don't use any other batteries any more. Got two of the chargers and about 20 of each battery type and they're brilliant. The high capacity AAs are absolutely ridiculous for Xbox controllers. (edited)

I bought the Amazon batteries before realising that they no longer sell the premium Japanese ones but instead the inferior Chinese ones.
So tempted to buy these as a replacement.

imo stick with eneloops still can't be beat. I don't believe these laddas are the same as eneloops underneath.

Edit: Price wise these LADDAs still can't be beat, you would end up spending £80+ so its still miles cheaper to stick with LADDA even if they are not 100% from japan or eneloops. (edited)

Sorry if answered already, but if I sign up for this, will they charge for delivery, or is it free?
    emptypocketz's avatar
    emptypocketz
got charged 4 quid for it, looks like 3 working days.

Way I saw it, I could spend 30-40 quid on Amazon Chinese or unreliable batteries or 80 quid on Eneloop ones instead 30 quid for 3x AA and 3x AAA, should last a good few years. I almost bought 3 packs for 20 quid last month in ikea so this saves a tenner, just hope these last longer then my last ladda packets that went bust after 3-4 years.

Been meaning to get some rechargeables for a while. Ended up springing for
    1x stenkol with 2450s
    2x 2450 AA
    3x AAA
    £10 discount, £35 delivered.
    emptypocketz's avatar
    emptypocketz
I think you miss out on the discount included on the 3rd 2450 packet.

I have a similar order try this instead:

    3 x AA-2450
    3 x AAA-750
    Stenkol separate charger for £5

Then you get the stenkol charger which is £5 for free and also £10 discount making it £31, then add £4 delivery so its total £35.

at least that is what the basket says, you can always cancel the order and re-do it I know since I messed up my 1st order.

Allegedly 160 packs of the 1900 AAs at Gateshead but only found two, and they were next to the clocks. Lots of the 2450s but means an uplift in cost

Got a variety of chargers at home but would quite like some kind of smarter one. Seems a minefield out on Amazon tho (edited)

they have moved all the batteries behind the tills, so you need to request it with the till person.

I had the same issue last month was thinking am I was going discharge mad since they said they had 100s in stock online.

Got mine, the 6 packets do say made in Japan so fingers crossed.

I did notice these still required a charge, so even though they say already charged its quite possible they lost a lot of juice or were packed 6 or 12 months ago in the factory. So if you want to be 100%, recharge them before use they took roughly an hour or 2 to do.

I did notice 2-3 of them did not get detected on my Yoshi good quality charger again its like they didn't bother to charge
so I took those out and stuck them on the ikea £5 charger and they detected fine and work fine from that. Maybe my charger is getting duff after 10 years use either way glad I got the ikea £5 charger as a back up its like it was designed to go with these Laddas.

Thanks, shame they don't do the 900mAH AAAs any more.

I got the 2450mAH AAs for £5.50 each and 900mAH AAAs for £4 each back in Mar 2021 - should have grabbed more back then! (edited)
