Any way to combine this with the £5.95 cashback from Quidco and TCB?
Could you get the 3 books, 1 each month, then cancel the contract and still keep the books? And is it a choice of books, or any audiobook they do?
Yes 100 percent . Have three books from a trial I had years ago.- Not for me either. I cancelled roughly a year ago, maybe one year is the cut off to get new offers?

I cancelled March 2022 and was able to use this. 
I already have an Audible account (but not currently subscribed and not eligible for this or any offers as recently cancelled my sub) but presumably I could setup a new account using this offer (or any offer) and then using the offer account I could use its credits to gift books to my main account, keeping all my books on one account. Has anyone tried this? It seems a simple way to take advantage of these offers, as I missing something that would prevent this? (edited)
Unfortunately this hasn't worked in the past. I've tried it again just now on an account where I'm getting 3 months free (a Prime Day offer on an account I hadn't used for some years) and it says this.....
"Gifts may be purchased with membership credits or with a credit card. Promotional and free trial credits, as well as extra credits purchased on top of a membership plan cannot be used to purchase a gift."
So I guess it will be the same with credits obtained through this offer as they'll count as promotional credits...... (edited)

Yeah the banner preceding this says 3 months for 99p when I click on start trial it offers 1 month for £0.00 and 2 free titles. So it's account specific. I use my account quite frequently and I never get any deals, so it seems the less you use Amazon the more deals you are likely to get to entice you on to the platform. You get nothing for loyalty!

Same when I did this. Authorised the payment anyway and 99p charged to my account. Just do it, it'll probably work fine, if not complain on chat.
I swear I must have had the email telling me I’m eligible about 12 times now. Each time it thenpops up at £7.99. Annoying that they keep sending that same email out so much!

I cancelled Mar 22 and worked for me- I cancelled a couple of months ago.

I cancelled about 6 months ago and this worked for me. I've heard some people suggest clearing cookies can work if you are not eligible. An earlier post said it worked using private browsing.
