Very cheap - works out at just over £3pp/pn. Weather should hopefully be better come April

Not for everyone, I know. But if you're free and live local, no brainer imo.

DISCOVER GREAT UK FAMILY BREAKS IN MINEHEAD

Located in the serene seaside town of Minehead, our resort is nestled in the beautiful hilly moors of Exmoor in Somerset, neighbouring a gorgeous golden sandy beach.

As the largest of our three resorts, Minehead is the ideal location for families wanting to embrace everything that's brilliant about the Great British seaside (including the unpredictable weather!) with acres of resort to roam and nearly one mile of beach on our doorstep.

Home to our iconic chalets and seafront apartments, you'll find everything you need to make your break special at Minehead. There are delicious restaurants, a vintage fairground, the Skyline Pavilion where you'll find our entertainment, plus a charming Chapel in our grounds, too!

If you fancy doing a little exploring outside of our resort, Minehead has so much to offer. In proximity to Exmoor National Park, you'll find nature trails and walking paths with lovely views. Dunster Castle is nearby, with the West Somerset Railway open for a nostalgic trip on the steam train.

Hope it helps someone

Most disgusting accommodation I've ever been to. It was the cheap wooden huts mind... But.
    The room stank.
    The bedding had holes in.
When we looked behind the wardrobe... The ENTIRE WALL was covered in a layer of black mould. I've never seen anything like it. We weren't offered new accommodation, just some thin blankets as the heating was also broken... In January/Feb time.

We had to stay in one of our friends rooms. Disgusting. The highlight was seeing the shipwreck on the beach that was exposed at the time.

    Never again. (edited)

The Silverfish room looks okay in photos but pretty sure what you see isn't what you're going to get. Good luck.

You get what you pay for tbf, I personally wouldn't pay their school holiday costs, and go elsewhere like Haven's etc.

Thought I'd share in case anyone wanted to explore the local area/ wanted to go to this park in particular etc. Can't complain too much at £49

If It's chilly and people can get there this is fantastic. Cheaper than heating on at home and potentially clear weather for beach strolls etc.

Youngsters would love it... They're happy with a slide and some sand?

The steam train was a good day out when we did Minehead. Plenty to do out and about

    bit of a catch 22

    wouldn't pay full price

but also dont want to be around ppl who pay this amount and then treat the place like dog poop because they have no self respect for themselves

chances of the linen being washed? not very high

We just came from Butlins Minehead … worts apartments. Our apartment was flooded and it took 20 hours to get replacement apartment, after continuous follow ups. Every time called guest service they promised someone will visit in next 5 but it never happened. Tbh they didn’t care once you paid. I won’t go to Butlins even they offer anything free

They phoned after booking/paying and cancelled cause we didn't have children with us, upon googling they're apparently weird about same sex couples and single people. Won't bother booking with them again, I have no plans to have children or pay hundreds more for an 'adult' package.. go hoseasons, they have a sale on.
