These are becoming really popular in the States, but the Blackstones and Traeger ones are 3 times the price over here, so may have to set my sights lower with a model like this

4 Burner Gas Griddle and Plancha:

  • Removable grease tray.
  • Create different heat zones.
  • Black powder coated trolley can easily be detached.
This Gas BBQ Plancha has four 2.5kW stainless steel burners with piezo ignition, an enamelled steel cooking plate with huge 83 x 36cm cooking area and a removable grease tray. Each of the gas burners can be controlled independently, allowing you to create different heat zones for cooking a variety of ingredients simultaneously. Simple to use and versatile, this plancha also provides a healthy way to cook as the food is seared with grease draining away into a removable grease tray. The black powder coated trolley can easily be detached. It provides a sturdy platform and plenty of storage, with a large shelf and two side tables, together with a comfortable working height. Two wheels on one side allow the trolley to be manoeuvred with ease. The plancha can be used with either propane or butane, although we recommend propane as it burns hotter which is better for cooking.

You will have to supply you're own gas and regulator by the looks of the description though

PLEASE NOTE: You will require a standard gas hose with 8mm diameter and the appropriate gas regulator – 28mBar for butane or 37mBar for propane.

Thank you, good spot. Saw a similar one in Asda few weeks backs which I think was like £250.

Really resisting temptation to get one, currently making do with cast iron plate on my Weber MT Kettle but this seems as a Blackstone alternative like you said.

Doubt it will be Blackstone quality and build but they're £750+ and as much as I'd like one, I just can't justify it. Weber & Traeger have released similar ones this year in the States, due to the popularity of the Blackstones, but have a long way to go to catch them up

But reckon in the next 12-24 months they will likely catch on over here as they're a great way of grilling and frying over a large area, better than an ordinary gas Grill for that sort of thing, if that's the majority style of outdoor cooking you do
