Was quietly waiting for lidl to have theirs in stock since they plastered it on their garden logo sale. Annoyingly nothing in store or online...

On another topic, my lawn is quite lumpy (+-2-3cm's mini hills), wondering if I can use this to help loosen the ground then level it or do I to get a tiller..? (edited)

Cut the turf, level the clods and then re-lay.

These don’t work great at aerating the lawn but great as a scarifier

Collecting mine today. Hopefully better than the lidl one I bought a couple of years ago that burnt out on first use. I have an Einhell cordless strimmer which is great so I'm hoping this will be too. I've noticed that Einhell also make a cordless battery powered scarifier. I wonder what that's like as I would imagine deep scarifying would require a lot of power.

I read up on the cordless one and it doesn't include the box at the back jro the other attachment.

I have the screwfix one which looks to be similarly specced for £20 less. 28L of bag is nothing though so for any size of garden you will be emptying a lot. I just took the bag off and sucked it up with the mower on a second pass.

Collection only but still cheaper than in store, even with tradepro code.

Spent ages doing this today with a wolf garter scarifier and a fork.

Is the aerator any good on these, as I have heard it is either the plugging method or nothing?

I have a similar one from Screwfix that I bought last year. These are NOT aerators. Electric rake and scarifier, but not an aerator. Mine did a great job getting all the dead grass and thatch out, but I still had to get a hollow tine aerator.
