I got my amazon deal (i7 12700h + 3070 +16ram for 900) deleted because wasn't forfilled by amazon. But aliexpress random seller is "trustable".

That makes absolutely no sense but I'm not surprised.

The way I see it. Don't bother posting deals if they aren't grateful for your time and effort for trying to help people. This site would be nothing without us normies, yet they make the profit.

Why are many people cynical of buying electronics of Ali express, yet almost all their home electronics are made in that part of the world? I appreciate knock offs and safety are legitimate concerns, but surely their are genuine brands and sellers on Ali-Express and not all products should be tarred with the same brush. (edited)

Because big brand electronics usually go through checks and are made to a particular standard made by big OEMs such as Foxconn, Delta, etc. No big brand wants to be liable for potential fire hazards in peoples' homes. Additionally, I can tell you that many of the GaN chargers being sold on AliExpress are not even using GaN mosfets (they are very expensive components vs standard mosfets) so they are cutting corners and aren't even what they claim to be. You can go with brands like UGREEN, Anker, etc on Amazon.

While it looks like a great offer, there is 0 chance I'm buying any potentially dodgy electrical products from AliExpress. Knowing my luck I'd get some cheap knock-off product that would be lucky to do 12w. Also is it even C E certified or is it the Chinese faked, unregulated certification of "ce" designed to look deceptively similar, but actually only means "China Export".

It's all depends on the brand and the seller.  If you have a decent band and a seller, it's very unlikely you will get a fake one.

Avoid buying any of this junk which is not electrically marked for use in the UK. The electrical issues and risk of fire/death is not surely not worth it. (edited)

Hmm where else could you use with UK plug?
Btw if this would be relabeled as Apple it would go on sale for 100 or more and noone would ask where it is made.
Don't forget that rubbish and unsafe stuff are sold in the UK as well. It's up to you what you buy. But i wouldn't call this rubbish without checking first.

soo type c to type c cable and it can charge a laptop?

It outputs 65w and 55W at the same time, or up to 105w if only one post is being used. Yes.
You need a suitable cable for that and obviously a laptop that has a type c charging port. (edited)
