sorted byYou can lift the account restrictions by buying the Starter Edition, but this means you have to start paying a monthly subscription (after the initial 30 days included with the SE).
So if you want to get the free copy of Stormblood, you'd need to buy the Standard Edition, but this would also mean you can never go back to playing with a free account again. The latest expansion Endwalker also includes previous expansions (Stormblood and Shadowbringers), if you just want to buy everything in one go anyway.
It shows up as free for me, the purchase completes, and I even get the receipt emailed. However it does not show up in my library, and the store just acts like I dont own it, I can re order it again, and the same loop happens. (edited)
