Probably one of the best tech purchases I've ever made for my bike - been using mine for over two years now and wouldn't be without it. Cheapest it's been on Amazon

If you do decide to splash out on an expensive light for your bike, you might also want to consider the Varia Seat-post Quarter Turn Mount | Garmin - this provides a more rigid fixed mounting point for the light to your seatpost - some people aren't 100% confident in the supplied mount that comes with the light which uses rubber o-rings to mount to your seatpost. Personally I've had no issues with these, but if you plan on spending a lot of time cycling in rough terrain or there are lots of potholes where you usually cycle, then you might want to get yourself the fixed mount. I have the fixed mount also and it does give you that extra level of confidence that your shiny new light isn't going to become detached during a bumpy ride.
Another alternative is to get a mount which attaches to the rails of your saddle, such as this:
Garmin don't provide a mount like this, but a quick Google search should turn up some on eBay or elsewhere on the web.
