Always been tempted with doing a DIY bike build. Currently got a 27.5 Hard tail… worth going for a 29er build?

29er's are more stable and roll better, 27.5's are more nimble in the corners, i personally have always ridden 29er hardtails though so this will be my first 29er FS.

I have a 2021 Voodoo Bizango 29er. Would I be able to get the 29 frame and essentially swap all the components over? Fork is only 120mm travel so poss not ideal - but would it all work? Could add a dropper post too.

You'd need a different rear wheel or rebuild current wheel with a new hub as your current bike uses a QR hub and these frames use boost thru axle, and yes you can use droppers.

Didn’t want or need this. So a 29” L Escarpe is arriving on Monday

Just need some forks then I’m going to transfer my bokor bits to it and upgrade bit by bit if my skills / interest warrants.

Escarpe’s Frame is designed have 150mm travel front forks fitted….
Bizango pro has 130mm travel forks ,unless you can extend the travel I would not use these forks.

They must be selling a lot of the Escarpe frames as they've put the price up to £399 now, Sommet remains at £359.
