sorted byThese battery packs are probably ok for smaller engines but useless for larger engines even though they advertise to support them. I have the Noco GB50 which supposedly can start up to 4.5L diesel. Like hell they can! Had a flat battery on the Range Rover over the weekend (3.5L diesel) and the thing was useless even at fully charged and boost override activated. Took a thick 12mm heavy duty jump lead to get it going on first turn. It’s started my Audi A3 no problem but I wouldn’t take for granted the advertised support for engine size on these things.
I have quite a number of vehicles from old jap cars, a pickup, and an old tractor.
I had one a few years ago which worked well for a while then it died but i was able to return it and i haven't replaced it.
