sorted byBut still I'm quite astonished that the farmfoods Riverdene Borlotti beans (19p), Cannellini beans (29p) and East End red kidney beans (29p) haven't been flying off the shelves or even had a mention on here. Riverdene are a catering quality brand that is generally not found in the major supermarkets but which may supply some of them under a different label. They supply the catering company Brakes as well. Clearing their shortdated stock (BBE June) through farmfoods is a sure sign that their usual customers in the catering industry have cut back IMO.
Lidl, Aldi, and absolutely Farmfoods (but not as much as it was IMHO) can and will save us money, and in the case of Aldi & Lidl? will introduce us to (in many cases) BETTER tasting foods, without paying fer the BRAND name, yer just gotta be a LITTLE adventurous people...just a little

Nout wrong with Stockwell & Co (Tesco) Baked beans, and/or Spaghetti rings, and the lemonade is very good, just not so much on TOAST
