Excellent price (never been cheaper anywhere, I'm pretty sure) using the voucher showing on the landing page. Was overpriced IMO when first released (£199.99) so really nice to see it reaching Tower/Salter/Daewoo levels!
UPDATE: NOW REDUCED TO £136 WITH VOUCHER! DAFT PRICE FOR THIS!
UNLESS THEY RUN OUT OF STOCK SOONER THIS VOUCHER IS DUE TO END AT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT SO IF YOU REALLY WANT ONE DON'T HANG ABOUT!!
Voucher valid until 30/5/22 or until stocks last.
IMO the most aesthetically pleasing dual basket air fryer out there and from a well respected brand.

The Stainless Steel trim version also included in the offer and coming up at £159.96 net. Again, an excellent price and looks fantastic IMO but it's the same internals so only you can decide if the lovely trim is worth an extra £18.

sorted byOne thing i would definitely say is don't mess about buying a single basket air fryer now these dual basket ones are on the market. Total false economy because most times you will be using your single basket air fryer in conjunction with your leccy guzzling traditional oven. Not recommended at 30p/kwh!
These dual basket ones genuinely can make your traditional oven virtually redundant because you can now cook 2 different foods (very quickly!) in the one machine (and have them finish at the same time no matter what setting each basket is set to!). Used correctly these dual basket air fryers most definitely save on electricity. Our traditional oven gets an outing approx once a month now.
A surprising thing it can do? I've had 2 (soft boiled) eggs for lunch today done in ours. (edited)
I think the FB group you are referring to maybe this one
Helped me out loads during the early days of ownership.
baskets is the way to go as you can just quickly grab and shake to rearrange the food inside...
I've seen all sorts of techniques, turn it upside down and use a plastic wire brush with some pink stuff or other cleaning solution, there is a Facebook group which has threads and threads of ways of doing it. It needs doing every 2-3 months I'd guess, depends what your cooking and how often you use it. I guess when it gets grubby, it's time to clean
Spot on, same here 🏻
I had the same, returned to Amazon who gave a full refund even though it was out of warranty
I don't doubt there are savings to be made vs a full size oven. But my point is that not everyone uses an oven every day. And some people don't cook big meals when they do. So spending £40 on a single basket fryer is enough for them, they don't need to spend £140 on a twin basket model. I agree that a family would benefit from one of these and it would make more sense than using a main oven all the time. But not everyone is a family.
These are great machines to have, love mine

I have the ninja, it's pretty amazing, I like that this one has clear glass to check on the food though! Cleaning them is a bit of an issue as the element is a pig to get to, but great pieces of kit!
How do you clean the element and how often? Got a dual ninja and been thoroughly cleaning try and basket after each use but didn't think to clean the elemtn?
I was absolutely in the same boat, Mrs B was very very sceptical but with the help of the Facebook page I highlighted earlier I went all in and cooked a whole chicken in one basket and roast potatoes in the other. The chicken was cooked to perfection (74c) in 60 mins (30 mins upside down, 30 mins right way up) and the roast potatoes in 20. Both baskets synced to finish at the same time
Best chicken we've ever tasted. Mrs Bs been a 100% fan of dual basket air fryer cooking ever since. (edited)
Wow good job! I do like the thing, just need to be smart about what to put on each tray.
Plenty of people out there where a single basket fryer is still more than adequate e.g. single person or any one/family that does not need to use an oven for cooking a large meal every day - perhaps a side serving of something oven cooked is enough. Also, you talk about costs. Buying a single basket version at £40 will be enough for some. If they spend £140 on this or a similar model, it is possible they would never get the £100 difference back in electricity savings as they would not use it enough.
Tell you what, those were the best bhajis I've ever had
I suspect the chicken fat had something to do with it. It was basically the size of a normal chicken & if it was just chicken & chips would easily be enough for 2 people. The Vortex is 1.5L bigger so I reckon that would be the minimum if cooking for 3 but 6L is enough for 2 as far as I can tell.
You could try cooking two soft boiled eggs for her as per op's latest trick with a 1200w per basket air fryer for 11 mins & cost it compared to cooking them in 500ml of water on a gas hob with your smart meter.
If it might actually be cheaper to stick 'em in a pan just show her @Bellboys graphs of how much you're gonna save and she'll be sold!
If not there's another bit of tech that works well dunelm.com/pro….ds just don't put it in an airfryer!
Edit: I have managed to toast current buns in an airfryer so if you could time it right i.e. get your eggs and enough regular toast for eggy soldiers done in the same air fryer basket I'd be impressed! (edited)
Dual basket air fryers are absolute game changers, aren't they?
Thanks for that has that was the one I was going to buy.
The casing certainly looks matte in this pic but of course the viewing windows are glossy (edited)
Unplug and turn upside down. If you've never cleaned it you may be shocked at the state of it
Very very awkward to clean behind the element so be careful not to damage anything and don't use a very wet cloth or scouring pad.
Good luck
But that's the whole point of a double basket air fryer, you will use it all the time because it's not just the appliance that cooks certain things in conjunction with your oven, it's the appliance that can cook the vast majority of your meals without troubling your traditional oven.
And ours (Ninja AF300UK bought for a bargainous £130 on Prime Day) is now 11 months old and has more than paid for itself in leccy savings already. I've already documented the savings on another deal including meter readings comparing the same period last year. I'm not just making this up.
For example, from our latest Shell Energy bill
You can actually add things to a single basket machine during cooking lol you don't have to use the oven because you don't have a second basket. I'll be adding onion bhajis to mine in about 10 minutes
What is in the basket at the moment?
How would you cook a whole chicken and home made chips? (edited)
But I asked about a whole chicken and isn't the added stuff going to end up soggy? And are we talking enough wedges for more than one person?
Hand on heart do you ever use both your oven and air fryer at the same time? (edited)
Fine for me?
Anyone else not seeing the voucher? (edited)
I’ve seen a review where someone is saying that oil and water get stuck between the 2 sheets of glass.
