    What was so difficult about putting a key in the ignition?

    It's to prevent thief from jamming the signal and remotely opening your car, although not sure how good these are

    Someone can just come close to your house, and transfer signal from the car key into car, open it and see you later.

    I personally prefer steering wheel lock, though (edited)
