This is very expensive unless you're planning on buying to resell the mini-figures (which I'm sure will be reassuringly pricey on ebay).

Not sure about other's children but my 4 1/2 year old daughter hasn't been interested in building 'sets' or really even playing with the sets once I've ended up building them. However she absolutely loves building her own creations with 2nd hand Lego I've bought off ebay (washed, of course) and that's all she does currently. Any sets just get broken up and absorbed into the big box. Given you can easily get 1kg of Lego for around £15, I can't justify buying the likes of this!

She 'helped' me build a Speed Champions set and built her own 'robot' instead - I had to seriously restrain myself from breaking it up so I could complete the car!
