Great price…. But checking the reviews, several people saying the lid “pops” open of its own accord during boiling?

A little stone for free on top when in Action will do the trick i guess

Does it save money as Boris Lier aka Johnson told everyone?

I've just bought a new kettle from Morrisons for 23 quid!

I bought the stainless steel version (albeit with plastic window and lid) about a week ago, for about £15.
    Happy with it.
    No lid problems.
Only criticism would be that it seems a little slow to auto-off when boiling minimum quantity. But then, I can remember electric kettles that had no auto-off (until it boiled dry!)
