Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 450 AW photo backpack

I've had a few photo backpacks and this one is really nice, fits my mirrorless camera system with 3 lenses, dji mini 3 pro drone and lots of space for other kit.

This ships from the Netherlands, I ordered on Monday and it arrived Thursday, they use UPS tracked service. No VAT on import to worry about as its under £135 and VAT is collected at the point of sale.

There were a few poor reviews on trustpilot, but I had no issues.

£111 + £9.99 postage

Lowepro products are worth the price because they are high-quality and durable. I have used different kinds of their cases for cameras and they have never let me down. The AW series has a handy rain cover that can be easily stored and attached to the bag. It won’t fly away in a strong wind.

I usually buy mine second hand because they retain their value well.

Completely agree, you get what you pay for with camera backpacks, with cameras and drones being so expensive, I always try and get the best bag to protect the kit. The AW series is fantastic and the rain cover is really handy.

I also have Lowepro Powder BP 500 AW, which is perfect for longer multi-day hikes with your camera kit.

I have a Canon backpack and all the velcro connectors has collpased and are bareley useable, would these be stronger in this brand? Or is it just the 100-400 is just too heavy?

In my experience Lowepro are a solid brand, I have several of there bags and 2 backpacks. This one seems very robust, but time will tell.

What's the chance this would fit an ipad pro 12.9"?

Yes it will fit in the tablet / laptop compartment at the front.

It will easily take my Samsung TAB s8 plus, which, which is similar size to your ipad

I just paid £205 on the PhotoSport 24L. The added water bladder area and the fact I can carry an a7iv, two lenses, and a drone, batteries and RC means I'm covered all through the Summer. I have the ProTactic 350 for the colder months, or when I need to carry a stupid amount of stuff.

The Photosport is a nice bag but couldn't get it to work for my kit, so sold it on. I have a water bladder compartment in the larger Powder BP 500, but I've had bladders leak previously, probably user error, but still won't risk using a bladder. (edited)
