The one that you feel comfortable with, so I'd suggest you try some first. It would be good to be Gore-tex , waterproof and breathable, with Vibram outsole, and Mid for ankle support. I have been having Lowa GTX Renegate for more than 10 years, and I'm quite happy with them, and very comfy.

I agree with going one size bigger. The uppers are harder than they look, also you can then wear thicker socks if you need to

Good idea. Especially as HOF charges for returns

This is a brilliant deal, I'm on my third pair of these since last 5 years, on average they last about 2 years with regular daily usage. Last pair bought in early 2022 at £72, and prior to that at £52 in 2019

Do you go a size up when you buy these?

Are these any good as an everyday pair of shoes? I like the regular Adidas trainers, but always find that they start to wear rather quickly, and have been frustrated by the lack of waterproofing

Bought a pair going into the lockdown for £45 from Adidas and they have been absolutely solid. Took a few tries to get the right size as they run small. Many 100's of miles on them and the only problem is that my feet are somewhere between the two sizes, so the rubbing inside the heal over time has worn the fabric away. Otherwise they would still be going strong, and that includes walking through heather, which is brutal stuff. Only thing to note if you are used to a flat urban trainer is the shape of the soul, which is also likely to feel stiffer.
