Why anyone would skimp out on no-name walking boots I'll never know. If you need to get a pair for £20 then Decathlon do a half-decent boot here: decathlon.co.uk/p/m…REY or if you need waterproof boots they do a pair for £35 that are very good - but tbh you're best heading to somewhere like GoOutdoors so that you can try them on as everyone's feet are different. They are £20 delivered and given my main walking boots are Hanwags at almost £300 a pair I'm happy to drop £20 on this pair. I dropped £23 a few weeks ago on the walking shoe version of this boot and they are absolutely fantastic.

I think someone should put a link up for some good waterproofing stuff cos after reading the reviews its looks like your gonna need it applying to these.

Worth a punt at £20. I've spent hundreds, if not thousands, over the years, and very few boots remain completely waterproof for very long. If you want your feet to stay dry, waterproof socks are your best bet nowadays, but then, you may get wet anyway, if you have feet prone to excessive sweating.

If you are serious about hill walking or hiiking you invest in a pair of boots like scarpa terra gtx. Your feet remain dry unless you go right in over the top . Never needed waterproof socks

I bought them with this discount yesterday; today, it has arrived and my first impressions are okay for £20 boots. Cheers for the tip.

Have you tried walking in them yet. I'm debating on whether to get a pair of these or some decathlon ones.

The reviews seem to all indicate the same thing - these are junk! They claim to be waterproof but most obviously arent. As for lightweight, that's not something I'd ever really consider if I'm looking at boots - stability, fit and comfort are more important to me that being "light" - I can always wear a pair of trainers if that's what I'm after.

Yeah, these look a lot like some old Regatta boots I had once that were very poor before I knew better.
You're actually better off with decent grippy trainers in loads of situations as at least they dry more quickly when the water gets in. These almost guaranteed won't be waterproof or supporting at all, and therefore defeating the whole object of having boots.
Ok for walking around town to make it look like you're into the outdoors, as long as no-one examines them closely I guess.

I bought this brand for winter boots instead of Sorrel Caribou (which are trash since Marel bought Sorrel) and they are brilliant!

Note -I just bought these £19.99 as listed BUT ALSO GOT AMAZON PRIME FREE FOR 30 DAYS INCUDED

I bought with the discount and im really impressed. Very light and seem comfy enough. Will be trying out today wearing them.

Are they hoking boots, in style yes in practicality no but then anyone who would want to go walking as a hobby would not be buying these, i dont think thats their target audience. I bought them as a cheap boot to wear at festivals. Coupled with a good pair of insoles they should do the job for a 5 day event.
