House of Fraser has a 1.4/5 rating on Trustpilot. Don’t trust these clowns with your money. It’s not a bargain if you end up getting messed around/have to try dealing with their “customer services” or your credit card company. Save yourself the hassle and stress, just not worth it. uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.houseoffraser.co.uk
Thanks for posting we have added this thread to the Highlights section (y)
As much as Mike Ashley is the 👿 he's saved these companies. House of Frasier, Game & Debenhams wouldn't be with us now. His work practices are terrible however.
Rubbish company since Ashley took over I’ve now stopped using them Crazy delivery charges and crap returns policy £10 to delivery an umbrella what a joke
Use to shop regularly in House of Fraser before Mike Ashley turned it into another sports direct, customer service is appalling then don’t do refunds only credit note beware before you buy
i bought something from them online last week. it clearly showed the item was in stock when i ordered it. 3 hours later, sending me an email saying my order was cancelled due to out of stock. unreliable company struggling for ages, deserves to close down!
Disgusting shameful owner
I think Mike lost his money with Debs when it went under last time around (lol)
Cold cold coldI had to pay for returns postage when they sent wrong item leaving me out of pocket due to item the picked and delivered wrong . Luckily I got money back but many many bad reviews on Trustpilot where people have been skanked
Bought some amazingly cheap Paul and Shark stuff thanks Mike (y)
One thing that did throw me the day my order was out for delivery the txt said your sports direct order is out for delivery (shock)
Placed an order it took few days for the order to update, but given current situation thats acceptable to me. Two Items were out of stock. Order arrived some of the items were literally thrown in a bag most were fine still sealed - nothing dirty though and the items were a bargain so only returned some items due to size.
You would be in the tiny minority: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.houseoffraser.co.uk Also on their FB and twitter pages there's many complaints and problems. The amount of complaints has become so high that they have stopped updating their twitter and facebook pages and have turned off all comments on their instagram. It's a massive risk where you are more likely to encounter problems than not and it's especially not worth it with them being in such a precarious position.
Another half decent high street shop that has gone to the dogs due to the current ownership
I’ve seen all the comments here but I can only comment on my personal experience. Ordered a couple of weeks ago, everything arrived perfectly packaged, clean and exactly as per order within 4 days.

Sorry missed the description. Totally forgot about PayPal. Nearest c&c is 38 miles away unfortunately
Did you pay via PayPal as I suggested to in my description? https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/refunded-returns And also if you'd selected C&C instead of delivery you then get a £10 voucher in store to spend.
Please tell I'm wrong. I've just checked their return policy and looks like I'd have to cover postage if I return an item.. I went ahead to place an order for 147 anyway, but £5 for standard delivery was added! So basically if I end up returning my order I'd be paying for delivery and return! Looks like a waste of money if you're not sure of the item and the size..
Don't touch ASICS got a pair hardly worn & both inner heels worn through, customer services been an absolute discrace, agreed a replacement pair but then just ignored my 6 or 7 emails. Do not buy any ASICS product read feedback on any websight.
Mike Ashley - cold
Slightly cheaper version here with free delivery and returns from ASICS themselves, cut out Mike Ashley. https://outlet.asics.com/gb/en-gb/gel-sonoma-5-g-tx/p/1011A660-001.html?width=Standard
Same happened me. Probably a cheap way of collecting user data. Think hotukdeals should ban HOF posts to be honest.
Oh no I should have read this post before spending a small fortune on what looked like bargains from HoF. Status says it is ready to be shipped...waiting for cancellation email...didn’t even click it was Sports Direct, would have boycotted....(skeptical)
As a family we made three separate orders. Aa were cancelled within the hour. Sock control is a joke or this is some sort of advertising scam! Avoid
Boycott this greedy individual
Two orders placed and both cancelled by them saying out of stock. When back on the website the items are still in stock (confused) Some sort of gimmick is it?

DKNY bag - £56 (+£4.99 C&C/Delivery) @ House of Fraser£60.99
Maybe because I made a mis-click? Didn't notice, either way it should be clear that it isn't free.
Whys it got free in the title...
I literally do not care whether a deal is voted hot or cold, as long as it gets at least one person a great boots for a good price then I am happy. :)
Yeah my advice would be to never post anything owned by Mike Ashley as it always goes cold
Yeah I was in there the other day and it is clear that the store is heading the way of turning into a cheap tat outlet... loads of sports gear already moved in and some of the more premium brands were being gotten rid of. Shame, as HOF used to represent one of the better quality department stores around. :( Still, these boots are a great deal and I challenge anyone to find them (the exact same model and style) at a price within this range! :)
