Loved Mr Benn. Couldn't choose between this and Bagpuss - both classics and hardly any made of either of them.

Growing up in the 70's and wholly agree with you, both Mr Benn and Bagpuss were my favourites.

No job, goes to a fancy dress shop and dresses up. Then hallucinates all day, leaves the shop and always has something he stole.

Yeah, we had great tv shows as a kid

I used to watch this in the 70’s. Showed my 8yo daughter this recently and she loved it. Watched it repeatedly. So am guessing it still has its day. It was quite amusing to watch again actually. Reminisce. Heat added for the price.

CEX seems to be loads of kids dvds they buy for 1p sell for £1.50. Great markup. Apart from the waste factor is it even worth recycling these at 1p each?? (edited)

To be fair to them, they have to pay rent, rates, wages, tax etc etc etc and then make the grand sum of £1.49 gross margin on this.

Anyway, this is a good deal but I do find Mr Benn a bit suspect these days.........
