Excellent compact BBQ and price for this Napoleon Bqq with cover, hinged lid and heat diffuser to help with lo&slo cooking

The Napoleon Charcoal Kettle Grill is the original infrared grilling machine. Light and mobile, this agile little kettle grill can easily go where the action is.

Ideal for charcoal enthusiasts, experience charcoal grilling with Napoleon's compact and mobile Charcoal Kettle Grill. This grill can easily follow you to wherever the action is thanks to the sturdy all-weather wheels. Grilling, roasting, and smoking are a breeze, the hinged grids make it easy to reload charcoal or add wood for smoking. Charcoal is all about controlling heat and airflow, the stainless steel heat diffuser evenly distributes heat, and directs spent charcoal to the ash catcher. The improved Pro Air Control system increases airflow and temperature accuracy while preventing water from entering the grill. The lid features a built-in lid hanger and cool touch handle to keep your hands away from the heat while grilling.

Features:

  • Chrome Plated Steel Cooking Grid
  • Stainless Steel Heat Diffuser
  • Stainless Steel Air Vents
  • Hinged Cooking Grids
  • Removable Heavy Steel Ash Catcher
  • Built-in Lid Hanger
  • Rugged Weather-Proof Wheels
  • ACCU-PROBE Temperature Gauge
  • Cool Touch Handle
  • Cover included
This compact charcoal barbecue grill has a 2,340cm² (362in²) cooking area, with a diameter of 56cm (22") large enough to fit 22 regular hamburgers.

Hinged, chrome plated steel cooking grids make adding more charcoal or wood for smoking simple. The included heat diffuser reflects charcoal heat for easy roasting and convection while the grate ensures that charcoal stays where you need it for the perfect cook, directing spent coals to the ash catcher. The heavy gauge black porcelain lid and bowl retain heat beautifully.

The removable high capacity, heavy steel ash catcher with superior air control system ensures that just the right amount of oxygen gets to the coals for incredible temperature control. ACCU-PROBE temperature gauge and rust-free air vent provide ease of air management and temperature control.

A built-in lid hanger keeps the lid off the ground, safely out of the way, preventing damage to decking or grass while cooking. Heavy duty wheels allow this grill to move around to where the action is or to easily be tucked away for storage.

Quality BBQ, I bought it from Costco 2 years ago for £140 and still looks like new. (edited)

Amazing price! Picked one up last year for £150 and don't regret it.
Lots of accessories are readily available for it too as it's the same size as the super popular Weber 56cm models. I've bought most of the Onlyfire range from Amazon to play with this...

Cracking deal. All my BBQ stuff is Weber but there are some great design features on the Napoleon and wouldn't hesitate to buy if I needed one

Is the Weber master touch worth the extra 150 quid or so over this?

The 5750 Master Touch will have a deeper bowl and GBS grills along with the blade for getting the ashes into the bowl (this will need brushing or shaking out at the end of the cook) but Master Touch doesn't have a diffuser and cover like this

They also do a thebbqshop.co.uk/nap…GBP PRO22K that Costco used to sell (didn't see it last year) but that is more similar to the 5775 than the 5750 and never saw it go below £300 last year, but is an excellent BBQ comparable to anything similar on the market in that price range

I'd say this one is excellent value if you're considering the Weber bar-b-kettle, Compact, Classic or something like the 5710 and like Weber will outlast any similar BBQ's you will get around this price or a little cheaper at the likes of Argos/Homebase/Wilko etc

    Couple of videoes on it

    Assembly

In use (gives you some idea of what it can accomodate whilst cooking) although the pair in the video have never been near a BBQ in their lives by the looks of it

I made mine up today and the lid needs a little persuasion to securely fit onto the base. If you don't "pop" it down easily can fall off

    Anybody else find this ?

Also any other preventative measures I can take? I read the legs car rust quickly.
