    Is it like coffee mate?

No, it's basically dried full cream milk. Coffee-mate is mostly glucose syrup and palm oil. (edited)

Real milk doesn't last as long, especially if you don't have a fridge.

I've used it camping, it lasts a lot better than fresh or uht milk and it tastes really good.
I found you have to mix it with cold water, then after a stir use it to make tea or coffee. If you mix it straight with boiling water it goes a bit grainy.

You can't compare the taste of Nido milk to fresh milk. Nido is so much better with coffee.

Nido (Ninho in Brazil) tastes amazing, specially if you add a bit of sugar (or sweetener). It has a creamy vanilla-like smell/taste. Yummy!

It’s nothing like the Marvel Milk Powder that tastes like shit. (edited)

Hopefully won't need to for a while, but handy to have if there's another lockdown, saves having to go to the shops, might be a poor imitation of fresh milk, but it's a lot better than a stay un hospital!

Gotta laugh at those who are comparing this to fresh milk. It's not suppose to be! Milk powder is heavily used is remote villages in poorer countries, as fridge/ electricity not widely available etc. Benefits of having this in the west is that we can spoil ourselves and be lazy! (edited)
